A really good pre-wash option is the Organic Olive and Aloe Hair Mask from Venus Secrets. Venus secrets also have various shampoo and conditioning options, but the Hair Mask is the item I would most recommend as truly making a difference for damaged hair.

@xosey, that sounds like hard water woes which I have experienced. I know, it is the pits, feeling all this gunk in your hair. Where I was, I could still smell the minerals on my skin hours after taking a shower. If it's at all possible, I'd install soft water filtration either throughout your living environment or in your shower. Honestly you need to wash whenever you can with soft water. It goes away immediately <3

I am 5 months postpartum and my hair is falling out in chunks. From what I’ve heard it’s super normal and should stop for you soon. I feel like if it goes on any longer for me I won’t have any hair left. Between it falling out and my baby pulling it out. Hope it gets better for you.

totally feel your pain! I tried every hair accessory and, while the telephone cord style of ponytail holders made a pretty sizable difference, my scalp *still* hurt...and, badly. So, I switched my immediate focus to calming my scalp. I was out of my Phyto Revitalizing Oil which has essential oils like Rosemary and Tea Tree in it, so for the right then, I melted some coconut oil and put it a few drops of Rosemary, Cedarwood, and Tea Tree Oil and painted it onto my scalp while it was a bit warm. Then, I put the reminder of the mixture miron the length of my hair (about 22-24 inches), tied it up for the rest of the evening and washed it out before bed. I really wasn't expecting much at all. But, my hair felt so soft and healthy. More importantly, my scalp didn't hurt when I put it up to sleep. I've been doing this every other day and my scalp doesn't hurt anymore, and my hair products seem to work better which makes keeping my hair up much easier. I'll probably go down to doing this once per week for maintenance, once I stop seeing improvement after each use.

For me, it doesn't feel heavy at all, the cream almost has a whipped texture.   Currently, for shampoo/conditioner, I'm using LIVING PROOF - Restore Shampooand LIVING PROOF - Restore Conditioner. Again, my hair is pretty coarse/dry though!   On nights that I don't shampoo, I don't really do much! I just sleep with my hair down, or sometimes in a bun, and do curling iron touch-ups in the morning again as needed.

SLIP - Silk Pillowcase - Standard/Queen SLIP - Silk Pillowcase - King   I've seen these cases in queen for 180 each Hard to find you sometimes have to type Slip alone. I used to spend 8K on acne facials a year Curl your hair or blow it out it lasts longer.   If you are using hair masks and serum cotton it is highly absorbent and it is a fact that cotton strips even natural oils from hair and skin so you are not receiving the actual benefit of your purchases. Slip Mulberry Silk 6a 22mm the finest on the wicks away moisture and is heat regulating allowing skin, hair, even eyelashes fully absorb the true benefits and it anti-bacterial unlike cotton (over 90% of the USA's cotton is GMO.   Your pillowcase is the foundation of your skins benefits.

I typically use, moisturizing, breakage, or colour safe shampoos/conditioners. I’ll keep an eye out for regulating shampoo’s, thanks! No, I wouldn’t describe my natural hair as soft and silky but I would attribute that to the fact my hair is curly/wavy.

Hello Beautiful and Vibrant Babes!im a small town lady and I have recently ruined my hair. This wouldn’t be the first time. My hair has been through the box dye cycle 3 times, split ends, frizzy uncontrollable days, hair fall out haha you name it. In highschool I used to listen to the girls Cut It! Color It! Do something about it! Thanks Girls, Love you too! Well I now know those aren’t the voices you should listen to. Now..Don’t give up, youthful healthy looking hair you see is achievable. Here are some things that I learned and will benefit your hair. Absolutely no rubber bands, elastics, rough hair bands, Many of us use a flat iron on a high setting. This causes more breakage. Using this occasionally is less harmful than every other day use. sprays, any induced chemicals, Do not wash your hair every day. There are natural oils produced from the scalp. You can use 24 hour hair masks but not often. I use a deep conditioning hair mask during the day wash it out at night and don’t use heavy long towels they increase  pulling at and breaking the strands. I use assuie shampoo and L’Oréal strong straight conditioner only. It took me a little over six months of braiding , scrunchie buns , and good hair treatment to relieve the prolonged stress / pain I put my hair and I through. Alright my lovelies! That’s everything this prissy precise babe has for tonight. Have a good one and achieve that hair Goal!

@lauraeve A nice lightweight conditioner is DEVACURL - One Condition Original Daily Cream Conditioner.  Don't worry - you don't have to have curly hair to use it!  My fave is Biolage Hydrasource Conditioning Balm. If you are considering drugstore, Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask is also good - you can use it as your everyday conditioner, too   A little bit goes a long way, so I don't think it would be too heavy for you.

Yes!!!! Its 399, and its definitely a splurge, but it is totally worth it!  My hair is curly and dry and with coloring... it was a total mess.  Since I changed to it i find myself cutting the drying time significantly, and using the difuser i could really feel a difference on the frizz.  Even my hairdresser comments on how much healthier my hair looks.  It is also great to dry your pet, its less noisy and my dog seems calmer (than when i used my previous dryer on her).
