How do you tame your flyaways when you have your hair up?

This is something I'm struggling with these days! I don't like using hair spray when my hair is up. What do you ladies/gents use to keep your hair sleek when it's up?

Anastasia Clear Brow Gel holds my wispy hair back like no other. It can get a bit crunchy looking but I just use my fingers to break it up a bit. This adds enough stick and grit to hold until my next shampoo.

@RiniVe If you are talking about baby hairs around your hairline, hairspray will emphasize them more once it dries as it isnt pliable. When I wear my hair in a put together top knot I take a spare toothbrush, spray it first with some very flexible hairspray like Sebastian Shaper then spray some dry conditioner like AMIKA - Silken Up Dry Conditioner

and then lightly go over my baby hairs.

If you have breakage, which would be a bit thicker strand wise, warm up some pomade like OUAI Matte Pomade 1.7 oz/ 50 mL

between your hands and either use the palm of your hand to smooth the breakage down or the toothbrush technique. I always follow with a cheap toothbrush and dry conditioner to soften the look and keep it looking natural.

@RiniVe I use a little hair gel.

I like using a bit of hair pomade. I wet my hands and add a little pomade. I then gently go over my hair.
