How Do You Condition Hair in The Extreme Heat?

Last Summer="Hot." I live in the American South where the heat does a number on my hair every year. I visited the purse museum in Little Rock last summer and really enjoyed it. As you can tell, my hair is really hot and dry. Temp.= 97 degrees F plus. I was wondering how people keep their hair moisturized and conditioned in this type of heat all summer? By the end of the summer, I have to really work on it to get it in shape in the fall. Suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks. BB1000.jpg
