Going from bleached blonde to brown?

I had my hair dyed balayage about three months ago, but I’ve grown sick of the blonde. I dyed my hair with SEMI permanent hair dye wanting to

go back to brown. I did a little bit of research and saw that I needed to use a filler for my hair, otherwise it would just turn green. I saw someone mix a brown color with another brownish reddish color, saying that that would work as a filler also, so that’s exactly what I did. If my hair does turn green once it eventually fades, can I use ACTUAL fillers this time and then dye it back to brown?

“Actual Fillers” are demi permanent colours. You need to understand the colour wheel to formulate it is not as simple as saying “all blondes fill with red” when going brown. When you lighten from dark to light you are lifting through red, orange, gold. You need to replace the missing pigment.
