I know it is such a weird question but because spring is among us what is your favorite fruit? I decided to try dragon fruit and it was kinda gross (no offense to people who like dragon fruit). My favorite fruit is green grapes and blackberries.
I love the variety and so many choices to choose from when considering fruits for the day, this thread is giving me some ideas for my shopping list 🫶 @Titian06
Lol, I love dragonfruit @ThatGirlMadi . Wouldn't call it a favorite, and I like the yellow ones moreso than the pink one.
My faves are bananas, blueberries and dates. They are musts for me. Then there are things I oscillate between, based on craving, apples (Fujis, JonaGolds and one name I can't think of right now...), Cara Cara Oranges (the best winter fruit IMO), pineapples, strawberries, and pears (especially Forelle and Korean).
ETA: Also kiwis! I just had some last week, and they were huge and so good.
@danielledanielleGreat choices!! I had a pink dragon fruit and I think it was underripe it no flavor it was strange lol
Oooh, that would make me so mad @ThatGirlMadi . Maybe try it again, and like @itsfi noted, go for the white flesh. I find the white to have a really nice kind of apple + melon like flavor.
@ThatGirlMadi, the yellow dragonfruit is much tastier, sweeter, in my opinion. @danielledanielle
The pink dragonfruit comes in both pink/red and white flesh. I’ve never know how to tell which it will be. 🤷🏻♀️ Our fabulous @blackkitty2014 has a dragonfruit plant!
@itsfi My mom tries to give us the tree with yellow and the also purple inside but guess what whoever gave the plants to her didn’t label which ones which so we ends up with the ones with white fruit inside lol That was our tree and the fruit from last year. The flowers are impressive too bad they only lasts for couple hours. I want my husband to grow me a mango tree and rambutan.I love mango and rambutan. Too bad we don’t have Hawaii weather 😘
The flower is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, @blackkitty2014 ! 🌻
Thx you @danielledanielle . 🌹 I pass that along to my husband. He’s the grower and I’m the eater 😂🤣
@blackkitty2014, the flower from the dragonfruit plant is stunning! 😍😍😍😍 Ohhh, a mango tree would be amazing. I love mango 🥭
Do you prefer rambutan to lychee or longan?
Ahhhh, Hawaii. 🌺
@itsfi Oh boy you know me sooo well. I love lychee and longan too. It’s hard to pick a favorite among those 3. But I can eat tons of them in 1 seating. I don’t see Longan nor Lychee when we was in Hawaii. Wonder whether they can grow those 2 there. I would assume Hawaiian should able to grow Longan. Seems to me liked Lychee requires some kind of cooler weather.
@blackkitty2014 Beautiful plants. I tried growing some fruits and veggies and it never end up working I live in to harsh of environment I guess. We are always in a drought and then it will rain for 2 months straight. The winter were i live is in the single digits and they summer is it’s a 100+ degrees.
Thx you @ThatGirlMadi . Sometimes it’s frustrating living where we live. We live in CA so it’s not so hard but we still have the summer with 100+ degree. Where we live it’s limited what we can grow too. My mom live in southern CA where the weather is nicer, her neighbor fruit trees are always bigger and sometimes have more fruits than we do. PS my husband has a green thumb but I have a brown thumb. I can’t grow anything 🤧😢
Oh wow @ThatGirlMadi, I won't be able to narrow it down to one or two, or even a dozen 🤣. It's like you asked me to pick my favorite lip product. 😮 Here's what came to mind, in alphabetical order.

@itsfi have you ever had cherimoya sorbet? It's so good! I haven't had a mangosteen since I was a kid. I can still remember the taste and texture, though. It's so unique.
Oooh, a cherimoya sorbet? I’ve never heard of that @makeitup305 @but it sounds delicious and refreshing! 😍
@itsfi back in CR, lots of restaurants will offer juice made from native fruits (including soursop). They also often sell limeade with fresh mint and it's so refreshing!
I am going to keep that in mind @makeitup305. How wonderful would tropical fruit juice be?!!! I love tropical fruits.
