Here are are my fluff babies DJ and Gunner (also called Lulu or Lou). They are mother and daughter. DJ is my baby and Gunner is a daddy's girl. They are approximately 9 years old and very spoiled!

This is DJ. She loves to be near me.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my best friend and fur baby I had for 10 years as well (he was 14 when he died, we adopted him as an adult from an abusive home). He was the most cuddly cat I have ever met on this planet, and was by my side but usually on top of me 24/7. I had to leave my career in 2015 from a back injury while being a nurse, and after that lots of my friends took off, especially during my two back surgeries. He was my faithful companion, my “nurse cat” as I always called him. I was all alone and he was all I had.
He actually died in 2021, but most days my heart still feels broken as if he just died yesterday. I do now have two younger cats, one is a daddy’s girl for my husband but our male really loves me and is a good cuddler. Not quite to the same extent as our old cat but has some very similar traits and he is a snuggle bug who has a very goofy personality, always making me laugh. Everyone is different as to when they’re ready to let another fur baby into their life, but it definitely helped me. Not a replacement but someone else to give love to (and receive love from).

Today is my baby girls 7th birthday! She has finally hit that retirement! 🎂🥳🎉🎊🎁🎈

She's the first cat I've ever had (I had dogs all my life) and she's literally my best friend, the best daughter, the 🍎 of my 👁 

Many more years to come ❤️

1. She got carried downstairs for breakfast like the 👸 she is

2. $2.50 premium canned breakfast

3. Cat grass I've been growing for a week

4. Morning playtime

5. Grooming

6. Lunch snacks

7. Evening playtime
