Nature Walks and The Beautiful Outdoors photos 🌿🌷🏞

I love going on walks and if I'm lucky taking a few photos while I'm lost in nature. 🏞🌎🌺  Does anyone else enjoy that?

These are some of the views from a little walk today.

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining but the breeze was cool. Everything smelt so fresh and we saw a few animals too. 😀

I love catching a glimpse of the young hatchlings and such this time of year @curlychiquita I hope to see some baby geese, ducks and swans soon. 🩷

@CynthieLu  Do those turtles grow to be large? Kind of looks like it if he’s a baby.

So yes, they grow to be chonkers!

Now that's a big guy @caitbird. He's a really good looking turtle thou, like for real, check out all them claws, 😮 wowza!

My spouse will actually handle turtles and move them safely across the roads in whatever direction they are going. I'm not brave enough to pick up a snapper, but he sure does 😱. He has a whole kit with gloves so he never touches them with his bare hands.

@CynthieLu  that's great that he rescues them from the road - I have done that a few times, but it was a lot more haphazard and nerve-wracking 😅 I don't have anything as organized as a kit to work with, but I feel bad leaving them there to get run over.

The kit helps to do it safely, especially gloves to protect your skin and hands from bacteria that can naturally grow on thier shells. @caitbird I know what you mean, I hate to see them left on the road, it's so dangerous for them.

@Ispend2much6 They do!  I have pictures of older snapper's but I apologize, there's nothing in the photo to give it perspective. These guys are pretty hefty thou 🐢

Fresh snow is a natural beauty. 😉 We have had barely any accumulation this year. Our snow fall must be at an all time low, just like the temperatures lol. @peculiarzmakeup

Ooh lucky you! @CorgiMommy  That must have been a really cool moment. I've only ever spotted golden eagle's here but I'd love to someday see one of these beautiful creatures in real life. Have you ever seen a nest?

Yes there is a nest near by, hoping they have beautiful  babies in the spring @CynthieLu

Not yet @CynthieLu it has been very windy here so hoping the nest didn't get blown away.  That happened last year.
