I love going on walks and if I'm lucky taking a few photos while I'm lost in nature. 🏞🌎🌺  Does anyone else enjoy that?

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining but the breeze was cool. Everything smelt so fresh and we saw a few animals too. 😀

@CynthieLu Beautiful! Nature and photography are two of my favorite things! Though I don't love carrying all my gear 😅. I don't get out as much as I used to because my body has a lot of struggles. Mountain hikes are my absolute favorite. Except anything with switchbacks, I actually have almost died on a trail with them. Here are some of my snaps I found on my Facebook ( I recently moved everything to my hard drives.)

Thank you for sharing your photos of the Rocky Mountains @Samtian. I used to live an hour from the mountains (on the Canadian side though). I remember my family going on road trips from Canada down to the US, passing through Idaho. I miss that fresh air. 🏔️

@JoSometimes Ooh that would be so fun living so close! I'm about 4 hours away from the Sawtooths and 4 from the Tetons.

There's nothing like being out in it. 🤩 thank you for sharing those! It's incredibly beautiful where you are. 🌎

The trails here won't get you unless the weather has been bad. 😉 The animals mostly leave us alone. Our bears are the gentler kind and there's more than enough deer for the Cougars.

I had to Google what a switchback was (lol not what I thought) omg! Here there are just tiny hills,  no mountains at all. I am a flat plains walker with the odd hill.  Omg a mountain hike would be sooo intense but awesome I bet ️💚

@CynthieLu Sounds nice! We have bears and cougars they have attacked people, I think moose is the biggest threat though. Hills sounds like a pleasant change, but there is nothing that compares to the fresh crisp mountain air and pure water. Switchbacks don't look bad until you experience it, it's torture.

@CynthieLu omg I love this! Is this what you see on the daily? I feel like this will just relieve all stress just by walking here everyday! I live in the city so it's always a bit of a drive but I definitely make it a priority on the weekends to go out into the nature. Will share after I rummage through my camera roll 😂

This is outside of town @jaaayp but the area I live in is full of woods, lakes and tons of hiking and walking trails. In town we have a big trail and conservation area the cuts right through the middle so even if you can't make it out of town there's some quiet and serene nature right in the middle. The side of town I'm on has the lake so I'm very lucky to see that beauty everyday. 💚

@CynthieLu This is a lovely, peaceful spot. I can already imagine how fresh and crispy the air must have been. I miss hiking out in nature. Last time I went for a hike was last summer when I flew back home. I’m hoping to head somewhere next month though!

@JoSometimes It's an amazing perk to be surrounded by nature.  The town I live in is surrounded by it  so its a short drive in any direction to find a place to walk 🌳🪻 there's a few trails in town to you can take advantage of too.

I hope things work out so you can get back out to enjoy some 🙂 what's hiking like where you go back home? Is it big hills? Lol I'm a small hill hiker 😉

I was an hour from the Rocky Mountains @CynthieLu, so not exactly small hills. Now I’m in the big city but there’s a few nice spots I know of that I can make a day trip out of.
