I love going on walks and if I'm lucky taking a few photos while I'm lost in nature. 🏞🌎🌺 Does anyone else enjoy that?

These are some of the views from a little walk today.

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining but the breeze was cool. Everything smelt so fresh and we saw a few animals too. 😀

Here’s a bear that charged in my direction when i opened my garage! I was scared I was the meal and ran (I know I wasn’t supposed to) but he ran right past me into the garage and ripped my garbage bins open and had himself a meal and I could do nothing but watch cause he was unaffected by any of the noise I was making to scare him off.

Look at dem bear feet! 🥰

@heartsmyface whew, that's a big ol' bear! I think most people would have a hard time not running away when a bear charges at them 😮 Hopefully he won't bother you again!

@caitbird @Theyre all fattening up for hibernation in a few weeks so they’ll only be a hassle for a little longer and we’re good til spring

Gosh that's a scary experience @heartsmyface. He's such a big fella! I hope he doesn't come after your trash can again and finds better meals somewhere else. and Woah! Those paws are huge! 🐾🐾

@CynthieLu Not the first bear on this property and while we were moving out of the last one a bear came IN the house. I was coming down the stairs with a box and at the bottom was a bear. A small bear but I was so startled I started yelling ‘bear’ over and over. He just sauntered out when my husband came up to see what I was panicked about.
too many bear encounters for me this month.

Oh my that's terrifying!

I don't mind bears as long as I'm not surprising them or they are not surprising me. I don't like when they come into town, it's not the right place for them too be. @heartsmyface. You handled it so well.

I hope they find other places too investigate away from your home.

@heartsmyface He does look sweet though! I don't know what I would have done. He reminds me of a toddler somehow.

This summer my son came home after dark, and went to enter the house through our side door. Good thing he looked ahead of himself, because a bobcat was sitting right at our door! They seem kind of friendly. I wonder if it was the same one that took refuge under our van during a rain storm. I feel like I posted this story here before...
