I love going on walks and if I'm lucky taking a few photos while I'm lost in nature. ๐๐๐บ Does anyone else enjoy that?
These are some of the views from a little walk today.

Feel free to share any photos you take out waking in the beautiful fresh air and sun shine ๐๐
I'd love to see what nature you see ๐ ๐
@JoSometimes yay birds! And you look so cute here! ๐
Aww thanks @caitbird! It was a great day and running into them was a treat.
@JoSometimes Looked like you had a great โhikeโ love all the wildlife you saw! I love the blonde! So fun!
@ather Any day seeing wilderness is a good day in my books, even if it was only a few minutes away.
Iโm glad I decided to shell out a little more for this specific wig. I originally wanted to spend as little as possible because I thought I would use it once but the cheapest one was definitely a you-get-what-you-pay-for kind of deal. Everyoneโs kind comments keep encouraging me to use it more.
I think hiking in outfits can be challenging but worth it a little ๐ It's like I think the beautiful outdoors makes for an amazing backdrop for the purpose of photos (your hike outfit is like a total hot girl moment. I love it! ๐) but than come the challenges you can run into lol.
What is that white bird??
@CynthieLu It was pretty far from where I was to really confirm but I think the white bird is an Egret.
I needed a quiet โmeโ day before work ramps up again next week. I got dressed, hopped in the car, and drove. I saw โparkโ on the road, turned into the lot, and eventually found that spot. I didnโt have a dedicated plan, so I didnโt get match my outfit to my activities. I had my runners with me, so that definitely helped. I donโt think I would have gone that way if I had other footwear unless maybe the entire path was maintained/paved.
And thank you for your kind words! Your โhot girl momentโ compliment made me feel happy and valid. Never thought someone would use those words when referring to me. ๐๐ฅฐ๐
Yesterdayโs complete OOTD. I wound up at the mall after for a post-park boba.
@JoSometimes I can relate to that, the next two months at work are going to be sooo busy. I am low key afraid lol but not really ๐ I just know it will be tough.
Ah there's nothing like going out for a walk dressed up a little, isn't it a little confidence boosting? ๐ I think we should call them hot girl walks or tell ourselves that, right? and just feel good in the moment โค๏ธ with that little motto in our minds ๐
Ooh an Egret? I haven't seen one in a good long while!
@CynthieLu Hot girl moments, hot girl walks. Love it! Definitely gonna use that next time! ๐ฉทโค๏ธโ๐ฅ๐ฉท
That's a lot of fowl @JoSometimes - I wonder if it's migration time. I know we've got a bit of summer left because we haven't heard the Canadian geese arriving, which usually signals fall for us.
@Ispend2much6 Itโs a bit early. I usually start to see the geese migrate mid-September. How are the geese when they reach you? They are always pissed off here and we tend to leave them alone. When they cross the street, everyone just stops driving. ๐คฃ๐
@JoSometimes Geese can be mean! The ones that migrate here tend to just fly to a nearby wildlife refuge; I never see them otherwise.
A nearby city has a terrible problem with them. Actually, wherever there is standing water, even a man-made pond, there will be geese. Wherever they are they leave a terrible odor.
@Ispend2much6 So theyโre just always angry. Part of me always wondered if their behaviour changed once they got far enough southโฆ
@JoSometimes If true, I would believe it. I grew up in the northern US, and now live in an area where the dew point frequently equals the humidity levels, and it makes me cranky.
Thatโs a pretty drastic change @Ispend2much6! I love humid climates but only when I know I can escape back to some place cooler and dryer after.
@JoSometimes looking cute as always!
Thank you @CorgiMommy! ๐
One of my summer bucket list items was to hike to Hanging Lake. Did it today and it was challenging but so worth it. A truly magical place

โ
@CorgiMommy That is incredibly serene looking.โฏ๏ธ And a total unique spot. Thank you so much for sharing this place ๐๐ I've never sent anything like it ๐
Is it a very long hike?
@CynthieLu Just a 1.2 miles but almost totally uphill to the lake. The trail is beautiful as you hike along a creek the entire time with little waterfalls everywhere.
Ooooh that's a beautiful picture you're painting in my mind ๐ @CorgiMommy I wish we had that kind of thing here. Your so lucky to have that near you.๐ฉต ๐
Great idea to have a summer bucket list. Note to self, I want to do that next year. ๐
@CorgiMommy What a beautiful spot! That looks like it was definitely worth the hike.
