Nature Walks and The Beautiful Outdoors photos 🌿🌷🏞

I love going on walks and if I'm lucky taking a few photos while I'm lost in nature. 🏞🌎🌺  Does anyone else enjoy that?

These are some of the views from a little walk today.

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining but the breeze was cool. Everything smelt so fresh and we saw a few animals too. 😀

I love this thread, I'm so glad I found it and thank you to @CynthieLu  for starting it! I am a total nature nerd and I love taking pictures of what I see. I hope nobody minds if I start spamming this thread now 😅

Went for a lovely and very wet hike with my parents this weekend on a nearby trail. We have had a lot of rain recently, so we saw lots of amphibians and fungi. The pond at the end of the trail was very scenic!

Red efts - we must have seen about 40 of these little guys, they were everywhere! Had to watch out for them underfoot on the trail.

Viscid violet corts, one of my favorite mushrooms!

Assorted amphibians - a rather orangey toad, a green frog, a pickerel frog, and a redback salamander (leadback phase) I found under a log.

And I think this crazy looking fungi is chicken of the woods!

You found so much cute wildlife 🐸 on your hike. And you captured a little bit of the fall colours too. 

I think salamanders are so adorable 😉 your so lucky to spot one!

Went to the mountains to see the beautiful golden aspens and they were spectacular

@CorgiMommy Love this so much! We have ginkgo trees at our park and they’re the last to change but they never fail to be bright and cheery like these.

I FINALLY got to go on a “hike” today. Quotation marks because I literally walked 5 minutes from the parking lot to get here but it was down an unmaintained, dirt path. And yes, I hiked in a dress… 🤪

I spotter some water fowl by the water. They were a bit too far for me to recognize but it was nice to see them. Please excuse the quality, I zoomed in all the way, then cropped even more after.

@ather Any day seeing wilderness is a good day in my books, even if it was only a few minutes away.

I’m glad I decided to shell out a little more for this specific wig. I originally wanted to spend as little as possible because I thought I would use it once but the cheapest one was definitely a you-get-what-you-pay-for kind of deal. Everyone’s kind comments keep encouraging me to use it more.

I think hiking in outfits can be challenging but worth it a little 😉 It's like I think the beautiful outdoors makes for an amazing backdrop for the purpose of photos (your hike outfit is like a total hot girl moment. I love it! 💕) but than come the challenges you can run into lol.

What is that white bird??

@CynthieLu It was pretty far from where I was to really confirm but I think the white bird is an Egret.

I needed a quiet “me” day before work ramps up again next week. I got dressed, hopped in the car, and drove. I saw “park” on the road, turned into the lot, and eventually found that spot. I didn’t have a dedicated plan, so I didn’t get match my outfit to my activities. I had my runners with me, so that definitely helped. I don’t think I would have gone that way if I had other footwear unless maybe the entire path was maintained/paved. 

And thank you for your kind words! Your “hot girl moment” compliment made me feel happy and valid. Never thought someone would use those words when referring to me. 😊🥰😊

Yesterday’s complete OOTD. I wound up at the mall after for a post-park boba.

@JoSometimes I can relate to that, the next two months at work are going to be sooo busy. I am low key afraid lol but not really 😉 I just know it will be tough. 

Ah there's nothing like going out for a walk dressed up a little, isn't it a little confidence boosting? 💞 I think we should call them hot girl walks or tell ourselves that, right? and just feel good in the moment ❤️ with that little motto in our minds 😘

Ooh an Egret? I haven't seen one in a good long while!
