I recently got a free first month's subscription to the jewelry subscription box Rocksbox, so I decided to try it out. The way it works is that you answer some questions about your style preferences, and for a monthly fee (I think $21), they send you a set of 3 pieces of jewelry to try. You also have the option to get a "sneak peek" at your set before they send it and swap the pieces out for ones you like better. You can decide if you want to purchase any of them (your monthly fee amount gets applied as a credit discount if you do), or send them back in exchange for new pieces. Here is my first set:

I decided to purchase the Lele Sadoughi seahorse earrings, and I am not sure yet whether I will end up keeping the other two. Of course I really don't need one more subscription fee lol, but it's not too expensive and so far it's a fun way to try out some new jewelry.

@greeneyedgirl107  ooh, pretty 😍! I'm curious, when you shop at Macy's do you usually buy online or in store, or a mixture of both? I have only looked online since there isn't a Macy's store that's very convenient to where I live.

@caitbird I do both.  I started recently in store, and go from there.  Online seems to have better sales.  My mall has gotten really dismal, so I've resorted to Macy's.   It's better than I thought,  but the Mact's north of the city is better.   I've probably exhausted most of the items I'm interested in, tho.  Online was more limited than I thought.

I reorganized my pin collection today and took the opportunity to take a picture of all of them. It reminded me that I have so many fun ones but I don't wear them often enough!

They are from all different sources, many from thrift stores. If you want to know about a specific one, feel free to ask!

@caitbird anthropologie has some gorgeous pins this year!  How do u wear yours?

@greeneyedgirl107  the little bee pin is a recent purchase from Anthropologie actually! I like to wear a pin as an accent on a hat or scarf this time of year, or sometimes a cluster of a few smaller ones by the neckline of my top or jacket. But I definitely don't remember to wear them as often as I'd like.
