This thread is created for us to share in the enjoyment of the winter holiday season.  Let's make some merriment.  Post as often as you'd like, and feel free to offer your own prompts.

December 1: How will you incorporate pink into the season?

December 2: What's the first thing you do to kick off winter?

December 3: What holiday nail trend would you love to try?

December 4: What fashion are you into right now?  Do you prefer old stand-bys, or are there new trends this year that have caught your eye?

December 5: Winter scents!  What EDTs are you wearing?  What candles are you burning?  What other scents say "holiday" to you?

December 6: Ornaments aren't just for the tree!  What hair ornaments are you wearing, or would you like to wear?  And of course what type do you like on the tree?

December 7: Shades of blue and white: how do these colors inspire you for Hanukkah, or in general this time of year?

December 21: Favorite flora and fauna this time of year?

December 22: What holiday phrase best describes you?  (Merry and bright?  Joyful and triumphant?  Frosty?!)

December 23: The twelve days of Christmas: what beauty items would be in your version?

December 24: What are your ideal stocking stuffers?  Candy, nuts, beauty, toys, diamonds...

 

December 25: Shades of red and green: how does this inspire you for Christmas, or in general this time of year?

December 3: What holiday nail trend would you love to try?  I don't follow nail or any other trends.  I did get a couple (or more) nail stamping plates from Maniology that I'm looking forward to using.

December 3: What holiday nail trend would you love to try?

I might try to do a plaid accent nail. I think it’s Christmas-y enough with the right colour choices and I haven’t broken out my nail art tools in a while.

Dec 1- Pink is one of my favorite colors. I don’t care what time of year it is I will wear pink sweaters or shirts. I also wear pink eyeshadow, blush and lipsticks.

Dec 2- Winter is my least favorite season. Spring can’t come quick enough for me.

Unfortunately I can’t wear heels any longer but I used to wear platform heels.

@Loretta55 I do enjoy parts of winter but as soon as Christmas and New Years’ are over, I’m with you on spring coming as quickly as possible.

Sorry I know that I am in the minority but I can do without the holidays @JoSometimes. I’m scheduled to work on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Those are rough days to work.

@Loretta55 that's awful!  I'm so sorry to hear that!

Idk what's going on this year at my work for the holidays.  We all worked Thanksgiving.  It wasn't bad.  That said, I don't want to work Christmas.   It's a long story, but I bet we'll get forced into working the Sunday before (Christmas Eve) or the Saturday after.   I don't believe in working weekends when my usual schedule is M-F.
