Hi everyone, We are almost to the last month of our challenge, time flew by fast! For December, sonnydee, scott1201, and eshoe have an idea for a sub challenge called “Deluxe December” Use up as many deluxe samples as you wish! As always, post your progress weekly, or end of the month- whenever you want- including foil samples too. Thanks to all contributors, (anyone can participate at any time). ❤️

Not my best week but still using up my foils and samples, used 10 samples but received 7. I liked everything this week except the Clinquesample. It really didn't do anything for me. I really loved the Shiseido night cream and the Alterna hair gel. I have used the Urban Decay eye primer for years and always loved it. Another repeat is the Bumble &Bumble shampoo and conditioner. First time using the Drybar On the Rocks shampoo and conditioner, another great product by this company. Lovedthe Kiehl's cleansing oil, this brand is really surprising me with their excellent skin products. YTD totals 516 used and 342 received.

Agreed re: Kiehls, @CorgiMommy! I have added a couple of their skincare items to my love list after trying samples. They don’t seem to get a lot of hype

I’ve had the same experience with that particular mix of Clinique products @CorgiMommy; I know people who love those 3 items, but they didn’t do anything for my skin. I’m pretty sure I have foils or DS of that Dry Bar shampoo and conditioner; will have to dig that out to try.

Week 1, 14 samples. I actually forgot 1 but I'll post it next week. 😉 thought it would be fun to single out which foils were new to me. The lip gloss foil was Buxom in Sarina. I purchased the full size this week. Buxom is definitely not new to me but the color Sarina is! I think the Tata cleanser would be a love but I only got to use it twice & sadly I only had 1!

@sonnydee  Ooo I didn't know US Sephoras carried Rituals. I always used to get products from this brand when I visited Europe, since they're not sold in Canada!

16 samples used this week! I’m pretty much out of skincare foils so now I need to concentrate on DS and fragrance.

Top row was loves (frangrances are Replica By the Fire and Beach Walk), middle row was Ehs, and bottom row were hard passes. CT Healthy Glow was very pretty but smelled bad and never quite sunk into my skin. Both of the oils also smelled odd and I’ve never enjoyed the yellow Clinique moisturizer. I’m not really one for blush, so the day I wore Orgasm and my coworker asked if I was okay because,”I looked flustered” I knew it just wasn’t for me. So that foil wasn’t really used up...

@scott1201 It’s funny, I’ve never liked the Clinique yellow moisturizer either! My mom used to use it when I was a kid, and that was a very long time ago!

Agreed! It’s funny, because I love basically all Clinique skincare - everything except this one moisturizer! It just doesn’t seem to sink in well? Can’t quite put my finger on it, @keana1 🧐

@scott1201 Their new gel moisturizer sinks in the skin quite well however! I tried it the last time I went to my local Sephora store! They are so different! Gosh I just hate the yellow one, never liked it and never will! But I agree, they do have some great products available!

Hi! I’m up for the challenge! I started September with 139 foils and I used 15 this week. I’m sitting on the fence with the IGK Coconut Oil Gel. I like it, but I feel like I can do better. Just haven’t found an HG for the no-blow-dry ‘do, yet. There were a of couple superstars in the group that I will definitely buy: Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask did make me glow. Must buy more. Loved the Rahua Classic Conditioner and the Buxom Full On Lip Polish gloss in Brandi. I also loved the Bite Agave Lip Balm. I’m a little confused b/c I have the Bite Agave Lip Mask and consider it HG. I don’t know where the Balm would fit into my plans. I didn’t hate any of the others, but didn’t love them either.

The Bite Lip balm I have used and would just carry it in my purse.  I liked it better than the lip mask.  The only problem is that it doesn't hold it's shape and gets pretty messy.  If you have dry lips it helps to keep them moistened throughout the day.

I am working on that Guerlain also, @christyrc, and am with you. For the price, I would expect this to be out of the park. It’s good, really good, but not worth the $2.67/application in and on my eyes ( based on .2ml per use). If I were a brand aficionado and I totally get that, support and am on board with that-this would be a wonderful addition to a skincare routine. The rahua...💕❤️💗!

I was wondering if anyone else that ordered online didn't get any samples (after putting it in your shopping cart and checked out) or 1 to 2 random samples that they never asked for? I can't even get enough samples for the challenge 😞

Sadly, it happens all the time. Contact CS and they'll likely give you a few points for orders without samples (they won't give you any points though if it's just that the samples were wrong, as "substitutions may occur"...)

The Eminence Triple C + E Firming Oil; the Be the Skin Botanical Nutrition Power Serum; and the Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil are all items that I have or will be purchasing a full size of - they'll come in handy as we move into the fall and winter months.  The Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Body Creme and the IGK Hot Girls Hydrating Conditioner probably fall between a "must have" and a "maybe".  This JM scent was the first JM fragrance I purchased years ago so I have a special fondness for it.
