I had missed this whole concept though I was following LL, just have been mostly off IG lately, but I guess the first release was a flop and they ended up going radio silent, then finally posting an apology/clarification and offered full refunds.

Some people defended them but most were saying they should charge way less for small size, unvetted products. They’re saying the point is to release products at earlier stages to see if they should be further developed (for people who want to be involved in the beauty product development process). Not sure how it’s going to go from here but not great when you have to do apologies and walk back your initial launch. @Sunnysmom @danielledanielle

@sister13 it sounds like it turned out to be quite the mess eh?! 🥹 Bummer. The concept sounded so interesting so maybe they’ll keep evolving and improving. I hope so. Curious to see how the next product turns out! I have a hunch it’s lips but maybe not. Depending I may try that one.  Kind of reminds me of the similar but much safer thing that Rituel de Fille has done. But they offer new products sometimes at lower prices to test the waters and then tweak it it seems like. I tried their tinted foundation which I did not love and their lips which I do love. lol

Ooh, yeah I've been following this @Sunnysmom , LL bringing products that never came to fruition... It's interesting, but I'm also wondering how prototype to production is going to work 🤔

Me too @danielledanielle . I wonder how it’s really gonna work . I see big demand probably and wonder how they will be able to pull it off?!  It will be fun to follow.

Do I need another perfume? No. Will I pick this up? Probably I’ll atleast test it out Almost certainly! 😉

I came thiiiis close @ather to making a purchase on their direct site with their F&F sale going on, to pick up the promo gwp sample of the perfume but decided to be good and wait.

Thanks @ather, I have my moments. There's a lot of great releases and sales, like every day practically. I have to take a step back and think about what I really want to get now versus what can wait for another day or that I can just pass on altogether. That's easier said than done though.

I am banking on that @missjeanie, that they will have it, not that you will be shocked. But, if they do not, I have a Plan B and it involves a pit stop into a Sephora. 😉

And I may need to stop for a vanilla ice cream to have something to compare that "smells like vanilla ice cream" claim. For science, of course.
