Hey all you cool cats and kittens, welcome to YEAR 6 of the Pan It Challenge!
The "Rules"
To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.
Getting Started (please share the following)

Ideas to Help You Pan Those Items:

@itsfi , @CynthieLu Yes, I am game for this. Thank you!
@itsfi thanks for the tag! I'll have to start thinking about this...
@CookieGirl1, project pan would be so much easier to do with ice cream. 🍨
I will pan marble fudge, and salted caramel, and … 😝
Thanks @itsfi ! I’m trying to multitask and other things are monopolizing my attention 😅😅
No problem @ElleElleG, happy to help. It’s always when you want to focus on something that a million other things pop up and they all need your time even if there’s just one of you! 😆 Never fails.
@itsfi Thanks for tagging me. I actually was going through all my products this afternoon. I will go through my product and pick out which ones I want and hopefully post tomorrow!! Although most of the bulk of my items are foils!
@ather, would love to have you join in but no pressure. Oh, foils. You could put the ones you want to use up on in a container or bag and have going through all of them be a pan item.
@itsfi thats a great idea! I have been putting them in a small basket on my dresser or strategically placing them by the sink or in the shower to use more. Which has been working too but I need to get them under control more!
Lol, it’s so easy for them to get out of control, isn’t it @ather? I took part in a challenge a few years back and put foils (or all that fit in there) in a jar and as you aptly put it “strategically” placed that on my bathroom counter. I think I pulled out 100 foils to work on - https://community.sephora.com/t5/Beauty-Confidential/Use-Your-Foil-Samples-Challenge-2019/m-p/493243...
@itsfi Such a great idea and it looks beautiful on your counter!
@itsfi -- I dig your jar set-up here. Maybe I can find a way to mimic this with my lippy samples.
That’s a great idea for lippie samples @heavyhedon! Those are fun to have on hand but can easily get hidden away in a drawer. 💄
And mine aren't even that close to hand, @itsfi unless I bring some into my daily makeup section of my storage, they're stuffed in an old pink Ipsy mailer on a closet shelf. Easy to forget about.
Yep, same @heavyhedon! For skincare foils, the majority of my foils are of products I already use or that I really want to try and with the latter I try to keep it on the smaller side so I can just try one product at a time. Better for my skin that way. I’ve also been decanting my current products into travel size containers or keeping mini jars of products to refill for travel or my gym bag. Most of my foils these days are hair or makeup related.
@missjeanie Oooo I love this idea!!! I wonder if anyone else would be on board??
@ather, I don’t think I have 40 foils (I shouldn’t - I tried to use most of them over the last couple of years but you never know 😂) but I’d be up for working through what I have with a Foil February or February Foils.
Love this, @missjeanie!! I'm definitely in, @ather!!
Could we count sheet masks as foils? They're a weird category to me, since they're single use but full sized? @itsfi would that get you up to 40?
@haleyvvvv I would count sheet masks as a foil! @missjeanie thoughts? I have a stack of sheet masks expiring this year! @itsfi @Maybe you have a stack like me?
You guys crack me up! @ather @haleyvvvv @itsfi I have an entire suitcase still full of sheet masks... which I'm now going to refer to as foils. It sounds so much better than saying over 300 foils in lieu of sheet masks. Single use to me works as a foil!
