Look, I know we are all fed up about the tweens going in Sephora. It is not just their fault but the parents too. I do want to say as a teen who is just a little bit older than those girls, I don't think it is fair to have an age limit, at least have a strict rule about the parents. I know that some cannot watch their kids very well, but give them a chance. TBH I don't have that much social media. I do have pinterest and it influenced my life in both positive and negative ways. Now being a teen, I am interested in skin care to help with my acne. Sure, I do want to use the trending products like Drunk Elephant, yet I don't have the money too. My parents make me pay for anything I want. Those are good parents. I think if more gen alpha parents were like that, and had their kids pay for the products, and don't let them have a phone maybe until 6th or 7th grade, like I did, I think the kids wouldn't be such a trouble. Also not letting them get exposed into social media is also good. Yet, it isn't just social media that is doing this. As a teen myself, my influence for the new trends is mostly the people around me. It isn't just social media or pinterest in my case. If people would be more nice too, I think this would be a better experience for gen alpha's and the other teens out there. So parents out there, from teenagers currently, please be a little more strict, but not mean.

Without knowing your current routine, here are some ideas:Are you using a primer? I’m going to guess no. I would recommend one for eyemakup and one for your face. For eye primer, I like Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eyeshadow Primer 0.2 oz/ 5.7 gFor a face primer, you’ll want one that has hyalronic acid in it. That can help with those dry areas. MILK MAKEUP Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide 1.52 / 45 mL is a good one, as is Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer 1.35 oz/ 40 mL All you do is put on the primers after you finish with your skincare routine (so after moisturizing), then put on your makeup. After that, I’d say do setting powder and a setting spray to lock things in. Powders should match your foundation, so I’m not going to go into detail with recommendations here, but I do like Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder Just dust a layer of powder over your face, then I like to follow with a setting spray. My favorite setting spray is:Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray Jumbo 8.11 oz / 240 mL (You don’t need the jumbo size- it’s the one that popped up for me to add)You can try doing either the powder or the spray too, if it feels like too much of a production.

Hello @sn901 ! No cream can truly prevent wrinkles/lines under the eyes. Those lines are formed partly (perhaps mostly) by repeat facial expressions, and everyone gets ‘em eventually. If you want to drastically reduce or prevent some lines, you’ll need to see a dermatologist about in-office procedures. Make sure the derm is board certified (assuming you’re in the US): you want a doc who truly knows what they’re doing, especially when it involves the skin around your eyeballs. For less drastic line prevention, a broad spectrum sunscreen’s your best bet. UV rays cause some wrinkes, among other things. Do you already use a sunscreen each day your skin’s exposed to sunlight, all year long, regardless of weather or season? Remember to bring it all the way up to your lash line. If you already have some undereye lines and want to soften them, a couple ingredients that can help are low-strength retinol and argireline (a peptide that can theoretically reduce some muscle movement and, therefore, reduce the appearance of some lines). I’m in my 50s with prominent undereye lines, and The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% Serum for Facial Wrinkles 1 oz/ 30 mL has softened my lines quite a bit—but hasn’t erased them, because argireline can’t do that. Neither can retinol, since undereye skin is so dynamic and there’s no way you or I are gonna stop making facial expressions. 🙂 Gotta keep your expectations realistic.
