Hi BT Party friends!
Itโs a cold rainy day here and I was thinking with all the love and heart parties going on recently, it might be cool to play a game of tag!
Since Iโm still pretty new to the forums, there are lots of you ladies I havenโt had the chance to say hello to! So, here is my evil plan:
Iโm going to tag someone that I donโt know very well, and ask a question (any question!) and they CANโT tag me back, but have to tag SOMEONE ELSE and ask a question of their choosing and so on and so on. The same person should never be tagged twice. And you can ask any question from โIf I eat myself would I become twice the size or disappear completely?โ to โWhat made you laugh today?โ or โWhat was your biggest makeup tragedy?โ
To kick it off, hello @ElleElleG - Nice to meet you (or uhh, voluntold you?)! Inquiring minds would like to know: What if anything is currently sitting in an online cart? If there is nothing in there now, if money were no object what would you order for yourself ASAP?
๐ณ Way to put me on the spot @themusefactory ๐
I'm assuming this is makeup-related so I'll limit my response to that and I should warn you that I'm a bit boring (read frugal or even pragmatic). Nothing in my cart at the moment, though I do plan to create an Ulta order before the week ends to take advantage of some of the point multipliers currently available to me.
๐ค๐ค๐ค if money were no object.... I would want to own the entire MUFE single eyeshadow collection since it is my favorite eyeshadow formula. I would also want a quality set of brushes (likely MUFE but I don't know for certain as I am still researching and lets be honest, I'd likely talk myself out of anything with a hefty price tag regardless of available funds/quality). That's all I can think of, sorry ๐
Tagging @VioletLavender , hi โบ๏ธif you could travel anywhere where would you go and why?
Shhhhh!
Oh la la, I'll have to look into those brushes!!!
That shade is seriously to die for! It was my first jump into purple eyeshadows and it is perfect for a variety of things!!
LOL, no worries @ZombieMetroAnt! I only put my initial response in the spoiler because I thought it was a long response.
Oh, what a cool idea @themusefactory! ๐
@ElleElleG This is SO hard to answer...I'm tempted to take the easy way out and say Paris, because that's the next trip that I have planned, haha...
But I think that my answer would probably be Thailand. This is because a few years ago my parents traveled there and they visited an elephant sanctuary and befriended an adorable baby elephant. I would like to meet him and see how he's doing. Does that sound nuts? Oh well! Also, because (obviously) Thailand itself is amazing. ๐
To continue the game:
@pixiedust2 What are your top five favorite animals? I know, picking only five is super difficult, but that is the nature of this game! ๐ ๐
@VioletLavender I'm so sorry I'm so late to respond. I haven't checked my emails in days LOL. Ok here goes.
1. Dogs (especially puppies!)
2. Koala Bears (yes they carry STD's but who cares, they're cute! ๐)
3. Big cats. Hard to pick just one, I find them all amazing. But I'll go with Leopard.
4. Pandas, especially baby pandas. I can watch that baby panda live feed ALL day long.
5. Bats. Yes bats. They're misunderstood ๐
Ok hope I'm doing this right. New question and new person, right? @lyravega Name your top five old movie stars. (had to pick this theme for you) Mine is Theda Bara ๐ค
Shhhh!
@themusefactory @Tamara76 @ElleElleG Thanks so much you guys!
This will actually be my fourth time in Paris, and the trip is going to be *ahem* food-focused, naturally. ๐
I'm going to spend about two weeks there, and I have been thinking about some fun day trips...We plan to play it by ear a bit, so if you have any specific places that are special to you that you'd like to suggest, I'd love to hear them! I'm definitely going to have to research Nimes!
@VioletLavender OMG even better! The first time I went to Paris we spent Thanksgiving at either a Korean BBQ or Chinese restaurant off the Champs-รlysรฉes (no clue if it's still there/the exact name) & it was AMAZING!
Please have a crepe with some nutella, strawberries, & powdered sugar on my behalf!
It's a couple hours away, but St. Malo is BEAUTIFUL and climbing up the Mont-Saint-Michel is an amazing experience. There are a number of shops and food places on the way up. Even if you aren't able to go up MSM St. Malo is a quaint little town right by the water.
Caen is a little closer, the D-Day Memorial is there. There was a cute shop we stopped at near by that had a number of local treats (also can't remember the name, sorry).
Lyon is nice and has some nice areas 15-20 minutes away; Vienne comes to mind.
Thank you so much for this @ElleElleG! I've put all your suggestions on my list!
As for the crepe, let's just say that sweet crepes are one of my favorite things ON EARTH, so eating one in your honor can definitely be arranged. ๐
I have to second @ElleElleG! Mont St Michel and St Malo are amazing! You must go to Sephora Fr to get some goodies we don't have here... like the laduree line ๐
@VioletLavender I used to live in champagne ardenne region of France (about an hourish north east of Paris) it's super beautiful! My Great Aunt who I adored lived in Troyes which is historically very interesting and the town itself is beautiful as it is still mainly 16th century buildings. I lived in Reims which has a beautiful Cathedral that is worth a visit. It dates back to the 12th Century and was notably liberated by Joan of Arc. Also, there are some great vineyards (and fields of lavender) with Champagne tastings โค๏ธ
@VioletLavender @Ispend2much6 @tsavorite
It's such a special place for me โค๏ธ I'll try and find pictures to share!
Are you real? This sounds like a wonderful dream, or the setting to a nice romance-mystery novel... by Mary Stewart... sigh.
@themusefactory I am swooning at this....and I don't use that word lightly.
@themusefactory Ooh, that sounds amazing! I'm definitely going to need to do a lot of fun research now! ๐
Thank you so much for sharing, I really appreciate it!
