Let's talk beauty sleep! We are hoping you will share a beauty sleep tip that helps you get you get ready for bed. Whether you have a special recipe for a nighttime sleepy drink or a nightly ritual that calms your thoughts, every tip counts. We want to hear your favorite tips so please comment with one sleep tip between 1/16 – 2/11 to enter. 1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR TO RECEIVE A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT AFFECT OR IMPROVE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.  This sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. 2. Sponsor:  Sephora USA, Inc., 525 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, www.sephora.com (“Sephora” or “Sponsor”).    
3. Eligibility:  Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States (including Puerto Rico but excluding Guam and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions not otherwise mentioned herein) and Canada (excluding Quebec residents) who are 18 years of age or older and the age of majority in their state, province or territory of primary residence as of the date of entry, and who has a registered Sephora account (no purchase or payment is necessary to sign up for a Sephora account). To Enter:  To enter the Sweepstakes, view a post from Sephora announcing the Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes Post”) in Sephora’s Beauty Insider Community in the Conversations section (community.sephora.com) during the Sweepstakes Period, and post a reply to the Sweepstakes Post with your sleep tip (your “Submission,” which includes both your reply and your Sephora Community username) In addition, your Submission must comply with all of the Submission Requirements listed below. Posting of your Submission constitutes your unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules. 

Submission Requirements: Your Submission must comply with these Official Rules, including all of the following Submission Requirements:

• No person other than you, the entrant, may be pictured in the Submission.

• You must own all rights to the Submission.    

• The Submission must not contain any third-party trademarks (other than those of Sephora or the brands sold by Sephora), names, logos, drawings, cartoons, photographs, pictures, or phrases.

• The Submission must not contain any images of medical conditions or claims of medical effectiveness, or any critical comments about other images posted on Sephora’s Gallery or their authors.

• The Submission must not contain any advertisements, "junk mail," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes,"  “spam” content or references to other products, offers or websites, or any other form of solicitation.

• The Submission must not contain any email addresses, URLS to other websites, phone numbers, physical addresses or other forms of contact or personal information.

• The Submission must not contain any computer viruses, worms or other potentially damaging computer programs or files.

• Your Submission otherwise complies with Sephora’s Terms of Use (http://seph.me/VTDbQH).    

Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Submission that does not comply with these Submission Restrictions or that Sponsor otherwise deems to be inappropriate in its sole discretion. In the event of disqualification, the Submission will not be entered into the Sweepstakes. 

By uploading a Submission, each entrant understands and agrees that the entrant’s Submission may be accessible for viewing by the general public and any such posting will be deemed made at the direction of the entrant within the meaning of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (US) and the Communications Decency Act (US).             

Only one entry per person is permitted. Use of multiple email addresses/accounts to enter more than once is prohibited. There may be only one (1) named entrant for each Submission, regardless of the number of persons who may have contributed to the creation of the Submission.

In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Sephora registered account of the entry, which the entrant will have the obligation to establish. Entries generated by a script, computer programs, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries, or entries not timely received due to telephone failures, Internet or website failures and disruptions, and ISP problems. Incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry. All eligible entries carry an equal chance of winning.

1. Sweepstakes Period:  The Sweepstakes begins on January 16, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on February 11, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on February 11, 2019.   
2. Selection of Winners:  Potential winners will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor on March 1, 2019 and will be notified by email. Potential winners will be required to provide Sponsor with their full name, mailing address, telephone number and/or date of birth, and may also be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit/declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release. Canadian potential winners must also correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question in the manner specified by the Sponsor.   For US residents, if the value of any winner’s prize is $600 or more (or $500 or more if Puerto Rico resident), the winner must supply Sponsor with his/her social security number for tax purposes, and complete (if requested) a W9 form.  A winner’s prize will be forfeited upon the occurrence of any of the following:  (i) the potential winner fails to confirm acceptance of the prize and eligibility within five (5) days of notification, (ii) the potential winner fails to return any required documents within seven (7) days of receiving such documents from Sponsor, (iii) the return of a prize or prize notification to Sponsor as non-deliverable; or (iv) the determination by Sponsor that winner is ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. If a potential winner forfeits a prize or is deemed ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing from all remaining eligible entries until a winner is determined.  If any alternate similarly forfeits the prize, Sponsor will use a reasonable number of attempts, in its discretion, to award the prize to another alternate but if it is unable to do so, the prize will be finally forfeited and Sponsor shall have no further obligation to award the prize.  All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding on all entrants.  Limit one prize per person/household.  Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
3. Prizes:  Five (5) grand prize winners will each be awarded a grand prize with an approximate prize value of US $614 / CAD $815.

Derma Rolling Or Microneedling before bed is heaven sent. 

Cleanse with a deep or gentle cleanser; Clinique liquid face wash

Tone with witch hazel, acv, or any gentle toner.

Sit your roller in alcohol for 5 mins for sanitation.

Roll over each part of the face 4-5 times, and avoid eyes and under eye area. 

You may do a moisturizing mask at this point (Optional)

Appy your Serum with Vitamin c

Apply gel/water based moisturizer; Saturday skin or Clinique is my go to at the moment.

Apply your favorite eye cream (optional)

In the morning my skin is glowing and super hydrated. Dermarolling  1-3 times a week can make a dramatic difference in acne scars, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, pack marks, evening out skin tone. This method allows your skin to regenerate itself faster than it normal can, as well all allow your serums and moisturizer to penetrate into your skin better. Plus while you sleep is the time that your body gets a chance to heal and rejuvenated itself. Furthermore, by adding this step to your nightly routine is a awesome way to give yourself a push start to clear and beautiful skin. A nice hot bath with bubbles, salts, and one of Sephora’s face masks. I also like drinking some sleepytime tea while I’m in there. I turn the lights down low, light some candles, and listen to peaceful music. It’s so relaxing you want to fall asleep in the bath but don’t do that lol. Once you get out your body and mind are free of the stress you encountered during your day and there’s no longer thousands of thoughts coming and going. Your then able to get in bed and fall asleep without the usual overthinking that occurs most of the time. It’s truly the best and only thing that gets me to fall asleep naturally.

My best beauty sleep advice is hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. I have dry skin so I have to stay hydrated with a good moisturizer. (Clinique moisture surge) 

I also have what I called as tea time every night before bed. (Harney & david’s spiced cimanon tea). It helps me relax and gives me time to reflect on my day. I think everyone should take a moment out of their day to decompress.

I have a night time routine I try to follow almost every day. I think it tells my brain it is time to sleep.

I try to eat my dinner 2 hours before bedtime. I clean up the kitchen and then make me some ginger turmeric tea and read a book or watch something on Netflix. 

After that I will go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, clean my face( farmacy face wash is real good. It takes off my make-up too) and apply some night cream or mask depending upon what my skin needs( Ren evercalm mask is very soothing for me). Then I will moisturize my feet ,hands and use a thick lip balm. I use cotton bedding. I really like the feel of crisp and clean cotton sheets. If I'm tired enough I will drift off to sleep within no time. When I can't get sleep I do the trick my dad told me during my childhood. I close my eyes and start counting backwards from 100 , in my mind not loudly. Do that very slowly, almost like savoring the numbers. 99 percent of the time I sleep before reaching 30. If I am still awake after doing that I will take a hum nutrition beauty zzz.

Everyone's beauty rituals are different. For me getting a beauty sleep means that I take care of my skin, clear out negative thoughts and take time to give myself self-love that I need. So, some of my tips for a BEAUTY SLEEP are: 

1) Night Time Skin Care: It is important to remove makeup fully so your skin can breathe overnight. Our makeup clogs our pores so I take time to clean my skin properly to make sure no residue is left. Lastly, I follow up with HERBIVORE - Moon Fruit Superfruit Night Treatment

2) Meditation: Meditation changed my life better. I meditate 10 minutes every night to clear out negative thoughts. It also calms the body down which will optimize your sleeping experience

3) SELF-LOVE: The most important one which is why I kept it at last. Self-Love is different every night.
