Let's talk beauty sleep! We are hoping you will share a beauty sleep tip that helps you get you get ready for bed. Whether you have a special recipe for a nighttime sleepy drink or a nightly ritual that calms your thoughts, every tip counts. We want to hear your favorite tips so please comment with one sleep tip between 1/16 – 2/11 to enter. 1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR TO RECEIVE A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT AFFECT OR IMPROVE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.  This sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. 2. Sponsor:  Sephora USA, Inc., 525 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, www.sephora.com (“Sephora” or “Sponsor”).    
3. Eligibility:  Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States (including Puerto Rico but excluding Guam and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions not otherwise mentioned herein) and Canada (excluding Quebec residents) who are 18 years of age or older and the age of majority in their state, province or territory of primary residence as of the date of entry, and who has a registered Sephora account (no purchase or payment is necessary to sign up for a Sephora account). To Enter:  To enter the Sweepstakes, view a post from Sephora announcing the Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes Post”) in Sephora’s Beauty Insider Community in the Conversations section (community.sephora.com) during the Sweepstakes Period, and post a reply to the Sweepstakes Post with your sleep tip (your “Submission,” which includes both your reply and your Sephora Community username) In addition, your Submission must comply with all of the Submission Requirements listed below. Posting of your Submission constitutes your unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules. 

Submission Requirements: Your Submission must comply with these Official Rules, including all of the following Submission Requirements:

• No person other than you, the entrant, may be pictured in the Submission.

• You must own all rights to the Submission.    

• The Submission must not contain any third-party trademarks (other than those of Sephora or the brands sold by Sephora), names, logos, drawings, cartoons, photographs, pictures, or phrases.

• The Submission must not contain any images of medical conditions or claims of medical effectiveness, or any critical comments about other images posted on Sephora’s Gallery or their authors.

• The Submission must not contain any advertisements, "junk mail," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes,"  “spam” content or references to other products, offers or websites, or any other form of solicitation.

• The Submission must not contain any email addresses, URLS to other websites, phone numbers, physical addresses or other forms of contact or personal information.

• The Submission must not contain any computer viruses, worms or other potentially damaging computer programs or files.

• Your Submission otherwise complies with Sephora’s Terms of Use (http://seph.me/VTDbQH).    

Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Submission that does not comply with these Submission Restrictions or that Sponsor otherwise deems to be inappropriate in its sole discretion. In the event of disqualification, the Submission will not be entered into the Sweepstakes. 

By uploading a Submission, each entrant understands and agrees that the entrant’s Submission may be accessible for viewing by the general public and any such posting will be deemed made at the direction of the entrant within the meaning of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (US) and the Communications Decency Act (US).             

Only one entry per person is permitted. Use of multiple email addresses/accounts to enter more than once is prohibited. There may be only one (1) named entrant for each Submission, regardless of the number of persons who may have contributed to the creation of the Submission.

In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Sephora registered account of the entry, which the entrant will have the obligation to establish. Entries generated by a script, computer programs, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries, or entries not timely received due to telephone failures, Internet or website failures and disruptions, and ISP problems. 1. Sweepstakes Period:  The Sweepstakes begins on January 16, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on February 11, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on February 11, 2019.   
2. Selection of Winners:  Potential winners will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor on March 1, 2019 and will be notified by email. Potential winners will be required to provide Sponsor with their full name, mailing address, telephone number and/or date of birth, and may also be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit/declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release. Canadian potential winners must also correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question in the manner specified by the Sponsor.   For US residents, if the value of any winner’s prize is $600 or more (or $500 or more if Puerto Rico resident), the winner must supply Sponsor with his/her social security number for tax purposes, and complete (if requested) a W9 form.  A winner’s prize will be forfeited upon the occurrence of any of the following:  (i) the potential winner fails to confirm acceptance of the prize and eligibility within five (5) days of notification, (ii) the potential winner fails to return any required documents within seven (7) days of receiving such documents from Sponsor, (iii) the return of a prize or prize notification to Sponsor as non-deliverable; or (iv) the determination by Sponsor that winner is ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. I love nighttime. Why? Because I am a mother of 3 boys. One with severe special needs and the other two just boys! I love nighttime because I get to give them all the kisses I want and then I get to do my thing! First I take my shower then sometimes I soak my feet in my foot tub with my Caviar conditioner. I know it’s weird but I recommend it! Makes your feet soft. Use a small amount. Then I use ouai scalp and body scrub. It has sugar in it so it’s not to harsh but it’s a great exfoliate. I love to use my iGK 50,000 feet on my hair while I soak my feet because the smell is so yummy. Sometimes I’ll do my face masks but if it’s not a face mask night then I just wash and moisturize. I love C.E.O. Glow and Sunday Riley Aplus retinol. And of course my lashgrande and water water!

I have kids, so we do their routine. Then I get a quick shower but I use simple face scrub, itworks toner, a serum if I'm using one, drink elephant peptide cream and vaseline for my lips. Once or twice a week I exfoliate hands and feet and use vaseline and gloves/socks. I drink chamomile tea with pomegranate juice mixed in. Read for a few mins then I'm out.

A fabulous beauty sleep tip that I heard from a Dermatologist years ago is to sleep on your back to help prevent wrinkles, fine lines, & facial asymmetry. Also, a silk pillow case is way better for your hair and skin! Since then, I have followed this advice & hope that this helps y'all sleep better so that y'all can feel more Beautiful!

I have a few things that I do to prepare to sleep. I avoid caffeine after 2pm. If I MUST drink it, there's an Adaptogen Coffee by Four Sigmatic that I drink. It's not the one that Sephora sells. I like this one because it doesn't have a lot of caffeine and the adaptogens help with stress.

If I have time to soak in a bath once I get home, i'll prepare one with some sea salts, lavender oil, and detox bath bombs. When I have it around, I drink Moon Juice's Dream Dust or Four Sigmatic's Mushroom Hot Cacao. I have a shipment of Moon Juice's Dream Dust on the way. I've been a customer of Moon Juice's long before they were in Sephora, but I prefer Four Sigmatic's drink due to taste.

I try to have my teeth brushed + skincare routine complete by 8:30 pm.

Lastly, if I I don't feel "ready for bed" by 10, I take 1/2-1/3rd of a HUM's beauty zzz pill to help me fall asleep. I don't think the entire pill because I'll wake up feeling groggy. I've been taking melatonin for years, but prefer this one because it has vitamin b-6 in it, which makes a difference.
