Monthly Favorites: September 2023 Edition!

Bye-bye, summer! 👋🍂 I’m welcoming fall, BIC – who’s with me? Ready for warm baths and vampy lips to make their annual return to my routine. The weather is getting colder already and I’m all about hydration; my hair is feeling particularly dry at the moment, so I’ve been trying to show it some extra TLC! I also got my hands on a couple new makeup products that I tried for the first time this month and instantly fell for – after a summer of dewy, barely-there makeup, I’m challenging myself to revisit more dramatic looks this season. ✨

I think it's time I list CLINIQUE Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Makeup Remover  as a fave.  I've been using The INKEY List Oat Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm 5 oz/ 150 mL and really liking it.  But, I'm usually in a bit of a rush when using it after work so I don't get everything off.  The Clinique is so easy to use and gets the rest of my eye makeup off when I cleanse before bed.  At first I had some eye irritation but I'm moving past that - I just make sure to use the right amount and keep my eyes shut tightly when I use it.  It rinses off very easily.  Plus, I love how gentle it is with my newly dry eyes...unless this made my eye area dry which I doubt.  

@CynthieLu I'm tagging you b/c I know you and I didn't care for the Farmacy balm.  Last I knew you were using the SC one and enjoying it (and what a good price!) but I thought I'd let you know my impressions of this one.  I was lucky to get it when Ulta had the 10x the points sale.  But of course it was 50% off not too much later.  Go figure.  I've been noticing more hefty Clinique sales at retailers recently.  At least, that's my perception!

@greeneyedgirl107 thank you for tagging me! I love hearing about make up removers. I soo loved Farmacy, but it didn't love my skin back regrettably 😉. The Sephora Collection is dupe worthy imo, except when it comes to the fun scents Farmacy has. I let it sit and it removes my make really well with my reusable make up wipes (SEPHORA COLLECTION Reusable Cotton Pads )

I'm going to keep my eyes open for the Clinique one now 😄

Love the looks of your cozy throw @GeorginaBT , yes bring on fall! I don’t think I’ve stopped wearing any of these since trying them. So grateful and happy to try these shadows and mascara. They are both just top-notch. Thank you so so much @TeamBIC ! Also loved learning so many new tricks of the trade plus mastering the latte look in the tutorial. MWAH! 😍😘

Aww thank you @Mellmars1185 ! 😘 I have used it on its own, under or mixed with my tinted moisturizers and also at the end over blush as a hit of sheen. It’s really soft and so pretty and feels soothing almost too!

Thanks @GeorginaBT ! I adore the drops!! You prob do neeed them! 😍 I’ve used mixed with plain moisturizer, mixed with Supergoop Glow lotion, mixed or under/over tinted moisturizer and also over my blush at the end! Super pretty glow! 🤩
