Happy November, BIC! Iโm over here still waiting for that crisp, fall feeling to kick in (itโs still unseasonably warm here in California ๐ ), but thereโs no denying that the Holiday szn is officially here -- ready or not! Speaking of which, I canโt wait to see what new goodies everyone picked up at the Sephora Savings Event earlier this month, if you shopped the sale! As for me, I managed to find a few new favorites in November, but mostly shopped my own stash to keep myself in check. Itโs all about ~balance~ ๐.
Here are the products Iโve been loving this November:

@faeriegirl Some beautiful product picks ๐ I absolutely adore the YSL Volupte Shine lippies โค๏ธ
With the cold dryer weather on its way I can see why some hydrating lippies made it too you loves list. @faeriegirl. Good choices. โ๏ธ ๐ (Your Dior collection is beautiful!)
@AlexBT This month, I am enthusiastically finally sharing my lip favourites ofโฆ practically the whole year!
Oh boy, you can tell sheโs been loved ๐คญ The tube on the left is already more than half empty! I initially received the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Heat Universal Lip Luminizer + Plumper Hot Cherry as a 100 pt perk from the Sephora Rewards Bazaar and redeemed it bc of its vibrant red colour in the tube. I didnโt expect to fall so much in love with the subtle colour it turned out on my lips and the plumper?! I love the tingles of a good plumper! (Thatโs why I buy the Buxom Full-Onโข Plumping Lip Cream Gloss limited edition releases even when theyโre full price, like the Pumpkin Pie Latte shade thatโs on its way to me hehe! Okay, I digress). Anyways, I was using it sparingly until I could buy the full-size, then I attended SEPHORiA Paris and BAM! They gifted me another one of these at the Fenty booth - match made in heaven! ๐ However, I realized a little too late that Sephora was doing a 30% Fenty one day sale during Black Friday week. I think I saw the tail end of it, but since Sephora runs on PST, when I woke up the sale had moved on to Khielโs instead ๐ Ah well, the new mini will last me some time anyway so all is not lost!
My second love of the year also surprisingly has to do with tingles haha! Although not a plumper, this Carmex lip balm contains an interesting mix of mint and pineapple that creates the tingle effect. Now, Iโve heard BIC ladies recommend Carmex in the past for dry, chapped lips but I hadnโt gotten around to trying it. Then, I was in London at the start of the year and attended Superdrug Presents and they had this item in their goodie bag. I must say, it definitely helped my chapped and often peeling lips - and it even has SPF! I find that it keeps my lips feeling hydrated for longer compared to other lip balms and I enjoyed it so much that I bought a back up of it recently, shown on the right (and I almost never buy backups) for fear of running out! Such a nice feeling having good products find their way to me in both cases!
@Guessgal Oooo these look great!! If I use them will I look as beautiful as you?
@ather Aww you are too kind, thank you for the sweet compliment ๐ I tried to take a before and after of my lips, but the before photo turned out blurry and I didn't notice until I applied the lippie ๐ anyhow, here's how the Fenty Beauty Hot Cherry looks on me. Full transparency: my lips are naturally quite full already, so I can't promise any extreme plumping results, but I absolutely love the glass-lips (is that a thing?!) effect it gives my lips in the daylight.
@QueenMarceline Pls tag me in your pics if you end up getting this shade as well! Here's how it looks on me - it's a very nice subtle colour even though it's bright red in the tube (although, with lip plumpers/glosses I usually get the brightest shade bc any lighter will not show up at all on my pigmented lips).
@Samtian You are indeed correct, my friend!! Sorry, life has been a whirlwind lately, but I will for sure tag you when I post about SEPHORiA Paris this month!
@Guessgal That looks stunning, and thank you!
@Guessgal Wow!! So gorgeous on you!! I think glass lips should be a thing!
@Guessgal Oh my, so beyond gorgeous! ๐
@Guessgal That Fenty gloss is gorgeous, ๐ I love that it's called Hot Cherry too ๐ I recently got a mini sample of a Fenty gloss and really liked the feel of it although the color was not typically what I would go for, this one seems way more up my alley.
@Guessgal Great choices! I love the color of the Fenty. Did you post about Sephoria in Paris? I remembered you were going but hadn't seen any posts from it.
Love seeing lip favorites @Guessgal! I had no idea Carmex had a pineapple flavored lip balm. I may need to hunt that down (not that I need more lip balm ๐). Ahhh, Buxom. That brought back memories - it was the first plumping lip product I'd ever used. I still keep a tube of it in my collection to this day. I just saw they have a collagen infused plumper in one of my favorite colors from their brand. Hmmm... ๐ค
@itsfi I haven't tried the collagen infused one yet either!! It tempts me each time I browse the brand tho haha. They've expanded to so many colours now - I like the look of Fuchsia You and Cherry Pop๐ Curious as to which is the favourite colour you mentioned below?
Oh wow, they have really brought in so many more colors! ๐ Cherry Pop is a beautiful shade @Guessgal; I can definitely see you wearing it and stunning in it. I'm partial to any of the Dolly shades - mauve lip shades can be hit or miss for me, but Buxom always gets it right when it comes to the Dolly color. For me, it's that my lips but better shade that I love so much. ๐
That pineapple Carmex is quite the divine find! So glad you got a second Hot Cherry @Guessgal
@danielledanielle Truly truly! I actually tried searching for it on Amazon, but for some reason this particular Carmex scent isnโt offered on there and the ones they did offer didnโt contain SPF from what I recall.
@Mellmars1185 Oh really?!? Yes, you must check out Hot Cherry! I can see it looking so beautiful on your rosy pink lips ๐ค and yes I wanted to make a comparison post on the two SEPHORiAs, but havenโt had the time yet! As the holidays approach Iโll have some extra time to post it though! For now, a little ;tldr is that I think SEPHORiA Paris was a bit better organized in terms of capacity. Also, although the booth experiences themselves were somewhat similar, I imagine the price point for SEPHORiA NYC tickets really lie in the swag bags. I do appreciate how accessible the Paris one was since it was a fraction of the price (with smaller swag bag ofc), but still worth it and lots of fun! ๐๐ป๐๐ป
@Guessgal Thanks for the feedback!! I actually have heard of Hot Cherry. I realized after I posted. It is the one that says Heat on the packaging, I believe?
