Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

Monthly Faves: June 2025!Monthly Faves: June 2025!

Hey there, BIC! I know the month is almost over (or maybe it is already over by the time you’re reading this), but HAPPY PRIDE! 🌈 We celebrated at Sephora HQ earlier this month with some visitors from Haus Labs, who let us play with some of the new blush balm shades IRL. I “accidentally” fell in love with the brand’s dual-ended blush brush, so I couldn’t resist picking one up for myself and shopping for a good cause. 😉 That isn’t the only newbie in my beauty routine this month – I also am trying out a new shampoo and conditioner duo (my hair is thirsty!), a new lightweight SPF (skin’s also thirsty), and a fun sparkly shadow stick that has been making my lazy-girl makeup routine a total cinch. 👌🏼

Here are some of my June summertime faves:

  • Caudalie Vinosun Protect Brightening Daily Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 50 with Niacinamide 1.7 oz / 50 mL
  • Crown Affair The Hydrating Shampoo for Dry, Damaged Hair 8 oz / 237 ml + Crown Affair The Hydrating Conditioner for Dry, Damaged Hair 8 oz / 237 ml
  • HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Dual-Ended Multi-Purpose Brush
  • Summer Fridays Cloud Dew Gel Cream Moisturizer 1.70 oz/ 50 mL
  • Too Faced Quickie Queen Eyeshadow Stick Fairy Dust

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@itsfi Ha I also love the pink theme! Those all sound like great winners!

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

So much pink in that pic, @Samtian. Open my closet door and there’s one pink blouse, a backpack, a pair of shoes, and a handbag with just a smidge of pink. Open up my drawers with my beauty products? A sea of various shades of pink packaging. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😆

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

Love the pink theme that you have going on, @itsfi 😉.

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@CookieGirl1, working through my stash has made me realize just how many pink things I have. 😄

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

Thatsleep mask looks fun @itsfi .  Lovely pink photo

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@CorgiMommy, fun and functional! 🙌

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@itsfi Such pretty in pink faves! 💕 That Laneige was not on my radar but it sounds very different texture-wise from the tried-and-true overnight lip mask! I'll have to check it out!

The Caudalie sunscreen is new to me -- I like it especially on my no-makeup days while working from home or when I want to smooth on a little protection before going on a run (HA, those are getting less and less frequent, but I'm working on it!). I discovered it via the Caudalie Dark Spot Brightening Serum & Suncreen SPF Set - you basically get the sunscreen for free! 😉 I'd say it's definitely more for face as it's slightly tinted!

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

You're so good for going on a run at all. Impressed and inspired @AlexBT! Just thinking about going for a run is making me break out in a sweat. 😬😂 Will definitely incorporate the Caudalie into my sunscreen routine.

Oh yes, the Laneige lip products have a different texture. They actually layer well together!

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

This month's favorites are a real hodgepodge, but a good one.

lume.jpgJune Favorites.jpgJune favorites swatch.jpg

Lume Unscented Full Body Deodorant- I don't know about the deodorizing part, but... trying to be delicate here... I had no sweat at the end of the day in areas where I always have sweat after trying this!  And that was during the recent heat wave.  Only thing I'd recommend is to use a washcloth to make sure you scrub all of the product off during your shower, as it feels like it leaves kind of a silicone type residue.

T3 AireBrush Round One-Step Volumizing Hair Dryer Brush - Love, love, love!  And even though I've been using this about half of the time I wash my hair, I was still able to revive my curls after my other shampoos.  Usually straightening products will destroy them.

COLOR WOW Dream Cocktail Coconut-Infused Hydrating Leave In Treatment 6.7 oz/ 200 mL - I will never be without this leave-in conditioner/styler.  Smoothing, moisturizing, curl-keeping.

Alastin moisturizer- a Free Gift Friday product.  It's such a good moisturizer!  It feels like it tightens a bit too.  I'll enjoy it while I have it because I won't be spending $125 for it (I was okay with $12.)

MERIT Brow 1980 Volumizing Tinted Eyebrow Gel-Pomade - Love the shade, it looks natural, easy to remove but doesn't smudge.

Surratt Prismatique Eyes in Style Eyes- Beautiful mauve shades.  Holds up well.

Drunk Elephant Silkamino Conditioning Leave-In Milk- Not available at Sephora.  It smells just like vanilla beans, and helps smooth my frizz on dry hair on days I don't wash.

Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Lip + Cheek Cream Blush Stick in Dou Dou (my favorite,) and a summery tawny pink beige Mimi.

Westman Atelier Lit Up Glow Highlighter Stick Brûlée - Great for summer with a little tan.

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@Ispend2much6 Great picks! The merit brow product sounds really nice. A brow pomade is one of the things I plan to buy soon once my current dries out much more.

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@Ispend2much6 that's awesome that you love your T3 AireBrush Round One-Step Volumizing Hair Dryer Brush so much!

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@CookieGirl1  Thank you!  It's solved a lot of hair issues for me (that and COLOR WOW Dream Cocktail Coconut-Infused Hydrating Leave In Treatment 6.7 oz/ 200 mL .)

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@Ispend2much6 Fab summer favorites! And love a good swatch moment 💞 Those Westman Atelier sticks feel so luxe and substantial, they real nail the component piece!

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@AlexBT I agree!  WA have my most favorite cream blushes and highlighters. It's almost magical how they dry down after application.

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

Color Wow has so many good products @Ispend2much6. I haven't heard of or tried this conditioner but it sounds like a perfect match for you and your curls. 🩷

Ooooh we are twinning!! Shouting out our love for our heated round brushes. 😀❤️

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

I would to know who is creator of Crown & those of you who liked their products? Thank you

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@AlexBT I haven't seen Caudalie's SPF before, ooh I picture it being so nice. Their line up is always very impressive. 👌

I'm happy to share what I'm loving this June. 🌞

Stash favorites making the top slots this month:

amika Blowout Babe Thermal Round Brush

JVN Mini Complete Blowout Styling Milk

And the newly acquired and awesome:

OUAI Fine Hair Shampoo 10 oz/ 300 mL

OUAI Fine Hair Conditioner 10 oz/ 300 mL

Ultra fine hair here, I gotta say this duo is working so well for me. My scalp, my tresses, everything looks and feels so nice after washing and conditioning with these two.

COLOR WOW Mini Dream Coat Supernatural Spray Anti-Frizz Treatment 1.7 oz/ 50 mL

I've gotten really soft and shiny hair since I started using this. This was such a surprise! I'm glad I finally got my hands on it. I've been wanting to try this forever!

Spoiler
This collection of hair products have been giving me some really fantastic good hair days. 😀

Dream Coat is a use once and lasts for 3-4 washes kind of product. I only use the JVN on days I'm washing but not using Dream Coat. It's been a really good routine so far. ❤️

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@CynthieLu Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous, and you are so great at styling your bangs. I could never get mine quite right (which is why mine are now growing out...haha).

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

Thank you so much 💘@PrettyPaint  I have a round boar bristle hair brush that I use to style my bangs. It's very helpful. It has lots of bristles and really holds them tight. I know what you mean thou, if I don't get them right it's just an annoyance. Wearing wonky bangs is absolutely no fun.

On thing that helps me is doing my bangs first before the rest of my hair. Once they get too dry after washing I feel like they are hopeless.

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

@CynthieLu WOW obsessed with that at-home blowout! That's from the Amika brush? Looks gorge. Major summer hair body!

Re: Monthly Favorites: June 2025 Edition!

Thank you! 🩷 @AlexBT I have a huge learning curve for styling my hair, but yeah I just blow dry it after washing and finish with the thermal brush. It gives me a really nice bounce and with the Dream Coat or JVN depending on the day,  I get some nice body into day 2 or 3 too. But it's a *huge* time commitment to do it all, I wish I had that much time always. 😀
