Monthly Faves: June 2025!
Hey there, BIC! I know the month is almost over (or maybe it is already over by the time you’re reading this), but HAPPY PRIDE! 🌈 We celebrated at Sephora HQ earlier this month with some visitors from Haus Labs, who let us play with some of the new blush balm shades IRL. I “accidentally” fell in love with the brand’s dual-ended blush brush, so I couldn’t resist picking one up for myself and shopping for a good cause. 😉 That isn’t the only newbie in my beauty routine this month – I also am trying out a new shampoo and conditioner duo (my hair is thirsty!), a new lightweight SPF (skin’s also thirsty), and a fun sparkly shadow stick that has been making my lazy-girl makeup routine a total cinch. 👌🏼
Here are some of my June summertime faves:

@AlexBT ohhhhh look 👀 at that brush!!!
Better late than never, my June faves are...
LANEIGE Lip Glowy Lightweight Hydration Balm with Shea Butter Matcha Bubble Tea
Paula's Choice CLEAR Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution with 2% Salicylic Acid 4 oz/ 118 mL
HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA PhD Hybrid Hydrating Tinted Lip Oil Neutral
@lmaster Great favorites. The Dior stick blushes are so nice.
Summer is really here now after a pretty long June gloom this month. I absolutely have the sunburn to prove it 😂
Favorites this month:
Im looking for a light skin tint for the summer if anyone has a fav in their list! 😉 tower 28 used to be my goto but im having some trouble with the shade match 🫠
@jaaayp Fab faves! I just picked up the newish MERIT The Uniform™ Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 24 because everyone keeps raving about it, but I have yet to try... we'll see if it makes my July faves list 😉
My reigning fave for the past year+ has been the Hourglass Veil™ Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation - I have it in both shades 5 and 7 so I can accommodate my "tan shade," but I find that the shades are fairly sheer and forgiving (especially if you have bronzing drops like our other friends in the comments mentioned)! There's no SPF in it, though, if that's a deal-breaker for you 🌞
Ooooh! I'm definitely adding these to the list @AlexBT ! Thank you for the recs! not having SPF is not a deal breaker since i'm one of those folks who apply SPF50 everyday regardless of whether the foundation/tint has SPF LOL i can't wait to hear about your review/thoughts on the MERIT The Uniform™ Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 my experience is very limited so maybe its time to expand 😂
Sorry about your sunburn, hope you have some relief. @jaaayp love that lip tint
Thank you @CorgiMommy ! Do you love the dior lip tints?! I dont think they're as popular but i absolutely adore them!
@jaaayp I've been considering that dry shampoo for a while, so I'm glad to hear you like it!
i absolutely love it @PrettyPaint ! I really liked the idea of having dry shampoo in a powder form vs spray since i tried the dae Fairy Duster Volumizing Dry Shampoo Powder 1 oz / 30 g but the applicator for the dae, i didn't love as much and when i saw this, i knew i had to try it! i particularly love that it doesn't stiff my roots (but also means no volume) and I can run my hand through my hair even with dry shampoo in it!
I hope your sunburn isn't too bad @jaaayp ☀️ is there anything giving you some relief? I hope you found something helpful.
I haven't tried adding bronzing drops to my tints but I'm intrigued by this comment section. That sounds like a great hack!
RIGHT @CynthieLu ?! now it's time for me to starting looking for a bronzing drop LOL i was using aloe with Tower 28 Beauty SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray with Hypochlorous Acid 4 oz/ 120 mL but now that i'm peeling, I've moved onto LANEIGE Cica Sleeping Mask for Moisture Barrier Support and Skinfix barrier+ Strengthening and Moisturizing Triple Lipid-Peptide Refillable Cream with B-L3 never thought my back would be so high maintenance! 😂
I hope you back recovers quickly @jaaayp. My first sunburn this year was my back around my shoulders, mine was the peeling kind too. Ugh. 😭
I like your thinking about the barrier support. I think that's a wise idea. I have been keeping that area of my skin out of the sun ☀️ I think it's need a break.
Do you have bronzing drops @jaaayp ? You could add that to your current to even out the suntan.
2nd this @jaaayp @danielledanielle!!
jaaayp, I'm currently able to wear the darker of 2 Tower 28 SunnyDays skin tints that I have but I use bronzing drops throughout the summer / early fall to shade match whatever warmth / tan I may pick up. Another approach that has been working for me is lightly applying the MAKEUP BY MARIO SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer® all over (or to the parts that need it most) to deepen the color of my skin tint.
