Monthly Faves: June 2025!
Hey there, BIC! I know the month is almost over (or maybe it is already over by the time you’re reading this), but HAPPY PRIDE! 🌈 We celebrated at Sephora HQ earlier this month with some visitors from Haus Labs, who let us play with some of the new blush balm shades IRL. I “accidentally” fell in love with the brand’s dual-ended blush brush, so I couldn’t resist picking one up for myself and shopping for a good cause. 😉 That isn’t the only newbie in my beauty routine this month – I also am trying out a new shampoo and conditioner duo (my hair is thirsty!), a new lightweight SPF (skin’s also thirsty), and a fun sparkly shadow stick that has been making my lazy-girl makeup routine a total cinch. 👌🏼
Here are some of my June summertime faves:

@CookieGirl1 No, not yet but that has been on my loves list for months, along with Crown Affair The Texturizing Air Dry Hair Mousse 5.1 oz/ 150 ml. I have so much hair product I'm trying to get through before I buy more.. 😅
love your favs @AlexBT ! I picked up a small sampler of the crown offerings in the past but i've been so impressed by their Crown Affair The Powder Dry Shampoo that i think i need to dive more into their products!
I'm also definitely adding the HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Dual-Ended Multi-Purpose Brush since my current fav MAKEUP BY MARIO F4 Dual-Ended Foundation and Face Brush seems to have been "revamped" 🤔
@jaaayp Oooh yes I also have their dry shampoo - I struggle a bit with the loose powder + brush format but I'll blame user error and keep trying 😂
I will say the HL brush is a bit small compared to the Mario F4 (I have both, apparently LOL) so just keep that in mind! Might not be a perfect replacement. For me it's great for highlighter + cream blush... or even more concentrated powder placement for my shiny areas. I didn't realize they revamped the Mario brush!
@AlexBT Those sound like some great picks! Here's mine for this month-
It's nice to see Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder -Universal Primer Universal Radiant make the cut for you this month @Samtian especially with the heat of summer, that primer really holds up.🌞👌
@CynthieLu Thank you! I haven't tried the radiant version but the regular version does very well!
I meant to tag the regular version, lol. You know I haven't tried the radiant one either, it isn't sold up here. But I think the universal is just my tried and true. I don't know if I would give it a go @Samtian
@CynthieLu I don't think I would either. I'm happy with the regular.
Rhubarb fragrance, sounds interesting! @Samtian
@CorgiMommy It's notes are Rhubarb, Orange, and Cedar. I'm glad I picked it up when it was released.
@Samtian wow, that' such a fun throwback to see the that CP highlighter!
@CookieGirl1 Haha that's what I thought when I grabbed it out of the box.
some awesome finds @Samtian !!! Milk sticks always tempt me and i never know if they're just trying to trick me or not... 😂
@Samtian That is such a fun palette. I don't think I have mine anymore, but I love the shades.
@PrettyPaint Awe I hope you used it all! It's fun for sure.
@Samtian I'm not sure that I finished it all. I think it was during a destashing period, but I tend to get rid of palettes and then regret it afterwards.
@AlexBT That sunscreen looks great, and I agree that shadow sticks are great for the summer when you don't want to bother with a full makeup routine.
Here are some of the products I've been enjoying this month:
HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Bio-Radiant Glassy Balm Highlighter Stick
Yves Saint Laurent Couture Mini Clutch Eyeshadow Palette 300 Kasbah Spices
Benefit Cosmetics Mighty Fine Waterproof Brow Pen
PHLUR Missing Person Eau de Parfum
Ahhhh, Kasbah Spices is such a pretty color story, @PrettyPaint - the shades are so rich and also wearable. The formula of the YSL quads are great, and the packaging is gorgeous!!! I've heard good things from a few folks (outside of BIC and ones who would not describe themselves as beauty lovers!!) - I really enjoy a lot of products from her line and that one looks like it would be so convenient and easy to use.
