It’s the holiday season, BIC! ⛄❄️ This year, we gave select members a chance to unbox 10 days of Community Faves as a token of our appreciation for their participation in the Beauty Insider Community. Community Favorites are some of the most talked-about products among members, and we thought we would celebrate these tried-and-true holy grails by gifting them to some of you! 🎁

This thread is a place for those who are receiving these goodies from us to share their gratis – though this won’t be your traditional unboxing. 😉 Without giving too much away, we are highlighting 10 days’ worth of Community Faves, meaning that you’ll have 10 Sephora products to unveil across 10 days … should you choose to refrain from opening them all at once (no judgement either way 😄).

Though our recipients’ packages may take varying time to get delivered, they should all arrive before mid-December. 💙 While you’re free to begin unboxing your gratis as you wish when you receive it, we are challenging you to post photos and share your thoughts on each of the products according to the schedule below so we can all experience the unboxing magic together (starting with the gift labeled “Day 1”)! You can absolutely post product photos and reactions earlier if you like – we might just suggest hiding them behind a spoiler tab to keep the surprise alive for fellow recipients who are still on their unboxing journey. 🙏

@jaaayp  Yay! Sounds like you have been loving everything so far! Or your friend!! I’m travelling now and had planned on taking everything but I didn’t have the room in my bag and I didn’t want bring anything that might not be air travel appropriate. I can’t wait to play catch up on Tuesday!! I can’t believe you haven’t tried any SC products! They have so many great ones. SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Eye Mask Caffeine  is a love by @itsfi  I picked them up last sale! They are amazing! And the SC foot and hand masks are always amazing too!!! Enjoy the hot weather!!

I could not agree with @ather  more about those SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Eye Mask Caffeine @jaaayp ❣️ I definitely pick up a handful when there's a sale - that 30% off Sephora Collection items that comes through every so often is fabulous. I also pick up the eye masks at regular price because I love them so! I wait for the day when they will be available in a pack of 30 or something like that, in a recyclable tub, with perhaps mini tongs / tweezers in the inside of the lid to make it easier and more hygienic to remove the individual under eye gels. Suuure, that's oddly specific, but I've been thinking about it a lot. Hahaha! It's not the first time I've mentioned that.

As for other Sephora Collection goodies worth trying ... how much time do you have jaaayp?! Not an exhaustive list but here are some that I have really liked, some for years, others more recently - 

• SEPHORA COLLECTION Microsmooth Multi-Tasking Baked Face Powder Foundation 15 Nude - this is the shade I wear jaaayp; there's one lighter shade in the collection - #5 Porcelain, described as "fair with pink undertones". This is a constant repurchase for me - I've been using this for maybe a decade? Definitely close to that. I've worn this on its own as a powder foundation - both dry and wet, as well as to set my makeup. I've heard it compared to MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder, but I've not tried that MAC powder.

• SEPHORA COLLECTION Soft Matte & Easy Liquid Lipstick - these are so good! My favorite shade is SEPHORA COLLECTION Soft Matte & Easy Liquid Lipstick 4 Laid Back - I like it so much that I've purchased one to keep in my desk drawer at work. Swatches in spoiler below.

• SEPHORA COLLECTION Best Skin Ever Full Coverage Multi-Use Hydrating Concealer 11.5P - this is my winter shade. It's definitely full coverage and a little goes a long way. It's long wearing too. I don't usually go for full coverage foundations but like having one in my collection, just in case. I know this is a concealer, but it works just fine as a foundation. Their SEPHORA COLLECTION Best Skin Ever Liquid Foundation # is also nice - that has a natural finish, more medium coverage (that can be easily sheered out, which is how I prefer to use it).

• The lychee is the flavor / version I like the most from the Sephora Collection masks. SEPHORA COLLECTION Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Face Masks Lychee (newest line) or SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Face Mask Lychee (from the same line as the one in the gratis box). They used to have a honey version that I loved, but they no longer make it. The masks in the newest line is made of acacia fibers while the masks from the line in the gratis box is made from eucalyptus derived fibers. Both are plant based fibers; many of the Korean sheet masks on the market that are clean or vegan use eucalyptus fibers for their sheet material. Both feel great on the skin, the acacia ones are probably a hair softer but it's not so noticeable to be a dealbreaker one way or the other. I've just used a lot of sheet masks in my day. 😉 Also, for the masks from the newest line, the sheet mask itself is compostable and the packaging is recyclable.

• HUGE 2nd to ather's rec for the SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Foot Mask 1 Pair Coconut / nourishing and soothing to comfort dry skin and the SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Hand Mask. I pick up several of the holiday edition for gifts / stocking stuffers every year and the regular version (same as the holiday except for the print on the mask) is one I like to have on hand throughout the year, for myself or guests. I can show you the results from one use if you'd like. Just let me know and be prepared - the "before" shot is not for the faint of heart. 😆

GREAT RECS @ather @itsfi I'm adding all these to my cart.. I think we are about the same on the powder foundation and the lip swatches are fantastic. I'll probably pick up the coral and the less bothered 🤔 does the eye mask has to be the caffeine one.. because it's sold out LOL

@danielledanielle STAIN. tell me more. I am a stain girl vs lipstick or gloss... drying? Long lasting? Transfer proof!?!?! PATCHY?!?!?

It's a matte finish @jaaayp , which can be drying for some, but I don't recall having an issue.   Lip prep helps if you do.   As they start away, they stain so well!   I went for a makeover with it on, and it took multiple wipes to get it off.  They also had a gold shade at one point, but it's d/c as I can't tag it.  As far as patchy, SEPHORA COLLECTION Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick 78 Chili Pepper is probably the most fickle one, but I would even it out/blot with my finger and it looked pretty good afterwards.

@jaaayp , cant pull it off? Why do you think so?  If it's a comfort thing, try one and wear it around locally.  You'd be surprised.  If anything, makeup can always be removed.

If it's preference, that I get, but don't fear the bold.

I got the 8 piece 2 years ago SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO 8 Piece Brush Set during a savings event and it was such a steal of a deal. 🤩 @jaaayp 

Out of all of the brushes from sets or singles, my absolute favorite is my eyeliner brush SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Eyeliner Brush #22 it gets me such a nice tight line.( I post alot of eyeliner looks using eyeshadow as a liner and I can get a really nice line with this brush. 😁)

🎉 Days of Community Faves Continues: ⭐

Day 7 is a jar of a hair mask I absolutely love. I'm thrilled to have a full sized tub of it. This is very generous of the @TeamBIC elves. Thank you so much! 💝

I first found this mask when I had been routinely getting blonde highlights years ago. My hair was in rough shape, but this mask was sooo good at softening and strengthening my damaged hair.

I still dye my hair often, I'm going to put this to good use. My hair is very dry naturally. ( like my skin lol) 😉 I'm looking forward to using this soon! 

I'm sooooo blown away by the generosity of these gifts for all of us. I'm counting my blessings and so happy to be opening them with all of you. 💕
