Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you @ChefAspenJade.

I’d suggest our Silk Cream. It’s a beautiful formula made with silk - which I picked because it plays so nice with skin. I think you’ll love it. xx, V

Hi Vicky, thanks for doing this live chat! I recently purchased the Kyoto Cleanse duo and also have the firming eye serum. So far, I really like the products. If you could pick one or 2 Tatcha product(s) for a person new to the brand to try, what would they be and why?

Re: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

@BuffySummers30 Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you! Definitely The Essence. It’s not a step most people in the US are used to but it has transformed my skin. Basically, it plumps the skin and helps all the steps that come afterwards (serums, moisturizers) do their work. xx, V

I just love your name.

I just love your name.

Hi Tatcha. I bought your best sellers kit I have combo skin and I purchased a clarisonic. I'm using the mural aha cleanser. But I still get a little bit of acne around my cheeks forehead and chin. Which products of yours are good to have no acne. Let ms know thank you♥️♥️♥️

@khannn Hello! Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you!

Acne can be tricky. Make sure your hair products are washed away around your hairline and don’t touch your face too much. If you are happy with your cleanser, a good non-comedogenic moisturizer will help keep pores clean. Try the Water Cream. xx, V

I have sensitive skin, what do you recommend for lasting hydration? thanks! xoxo

Re: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

Hello @rio555! Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you! I would recommend our Indigo Triple Recovery Cream. It is great for sensitive skin!

RE: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

I can’t seem to find my holy grail face primer. My skin is combo but mostly oily with large pores and I’m prone to breakouts. I’ve used the Cane+Austin matte primer which solves my oiliness but totally clogged my pores. I’ve tried other primers but they usually only work of a day or two at best, them my oily skin takes over. Do you have any suggestions?

Re: RE: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

@Vallenc0urt Hello! Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you! I am in love with our new primer, the Silk Canvas. It is skincare protecting and makeup perfecting without clogging pores. Don’t forget that a little goes a long way. xx, V

RE: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

Hi Vicky. Thanks for giving us your time! I have sensitive normal-dry and extremely prone to breakouts, and all the solutions I’ve found are for oily skin. I’ve tried different products, different cleansing routines, cut out junky foods, and rarely use makeup anymore, but nothing seems to work and I’ve been struggling with this for so long. Is there anything you can recommend to me?

Re: RE: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

Hi @DeinoBelle Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you!

I know exactly what you mean! For sensitive skin that is also prone to breakouts you will love our Polished Gentle Enzyme Powder and Silk Cream. The exfoliation from the Polish with help clear up and fight off breakouts and the Silk Cream gives all the hydration you need without being heavy on the skin.  xx, V

im 34 and I've always had dry skin. Now im super oily, getting pimples, and clogged enlarged pores. any suggestions?

Re: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

Hi @rachelle25 Your skin can change over the years, and can change with our environment and lifestyle. To help balance our excess oils and unclog pores, I recommend starting trying The Deep Cleanse to help unclog pores and sweep away dead skin cells that can congest skin. The Water Cream is a lightweight moisturizer that will also help control oil production and minimize pores. xx, V

Idk where I saw this but can you mix the camellia oil with the rice powder and if so how about would you do this???

Re: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

Hi @Anonymous Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you! You can! In the palm of your hand mix a bit of both with a sprinkling of water to make a gommage. Use it carefully, though, it doesn't turn into as much of a foam and thus provides more of a scrub, so be a little more cautious. xx, V

Re: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

Hello

my daughter is acne prone, oily skin with redness. Any product you can recommend for her?

Re: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

Hello @lilybrod Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you! I would recommend The Deep Cleanse as her morning facial cleanser to help unclog pores and nourish her skin. For moisturizer, The Water Cream will help balance oil production while still hydrating her skin. Throughout the day, our blotting papers will help absorb excess oil without disturbing her skin - it’s the simplest way to take care of oily skin without aggravating it. xx, V

First, I love Tatcha and Vicky.  My IG is @makeupbyangelicaw and i wanted to know your thoughts on beauty oils.  Ive heard constant use makes your skin lazy.  Any thoughts?

Hi @Angelica80 Sorry we missed this question but wanted to get back to you!

you are so sweet to say that! I’ll look for you on Instagram! Beauty oils can be used in a few different ways (on face and body, on hair, on cuticles) - but shouldn’t cause your skin to be too lazy or dependent on them, if the formula is pure. xx, V

RE: Live Chat with Vicky Tsai, Founder of Tatcha!

First, I’m thrilled to see a fellow Wellesley alum have such a wonderfully successful business. I’d be interested to know if you have tips for other women interested in getting into the beauty industry. My question is, other that taking along your fabulous mist, do you have any suggestions for skincare when you’re stuck on an airplane for hours? Thanks, Robbin Douglas, ‘85
