little pimples after philosophy pore mask

Yesterday I bought the Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor at the recommendation of a Sephora employee. I used it for the first time last night and now I have five or six tiny pimples around my mouth. Is this a normal part of the process? I don't mind it as a side effect after first use but if it's going to keep happening I'll look for a different solution to my pores. I have very sensitive skin so that might be part of it. The pictures are kinda tough because i have a lot of freckles too but you can see two pimples next to the freckle above my mouth and another further to the side. Thanks in advance for any advice!

This is why I stay away from masks that "draw impurities out" because they don't. they bring impurities to the surface and then leave you with pimples. If you're going to use a mask that acts in such a way, I suggest using it first, then follow with an exfoliation/deep cleansing so then whatever is "brought to the surface" can be removed

That's helpful, thank you! 🙂 It makes sense but I guess I figured the mask would do it for me (I washed my face before using the mask).

Wash before and after! A mask should be thought of as a little facial. A few steps, but it's needed to make the effects last.
