What step do you use the T.L.C Glycolic Serum from Drunk Elephant?

When do you add the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum your skincare routine? My routine looks like... 1) Make up remover 2) Normal cleanser 3) Acid tone (2-3 times a week) 4) Mist 5) Hyaluronic acid 6) Retinol (when I need it) 7) Moisturizer I know that glycolic acid is a BHA so it exfoliates, my thoughts are that it should be used at the 2nd step but since it's housed in a serum, should it be used at a different step?

I use this after I wash and tone my skin! I follow it with face cream, eye serum, and eye cream. I hope this helps.

You can really use it in any spot. Some people get less irritation from acids on dry skin so you can put it on after mist/essence/toner once it's dry. Some people like it on wet skin. I like my acids after my essence then let it sit for ten minutes with nothing else as it's more effective. I've also used them after a hydrating serum and they still work fine. As long as you're going lightest to thickest. I would put this below any  creamy serum or oil. A lot of people do like to alternate with retinol as well and do opposite nights.

@Ashley1127  I use it at night after I wash my face. Then I add some lala retro on my fave after. Drunk elephant had it on their Instagram saying to alternate between tlc and retinol and add the baby facial in once a week so baby facial was Sunday and tlc was Monday Wednesday Friday and retinol was Tuesday Thursday Sunday.

hi there ! i would use this products in the 'serum' slot (so your step 6) before your moisturizer. i would not use your acid toner (or your retinol) on the nights you use this, interchange them.
