Supergoop Daily Dose

Hi, the new daily dose c + spf says use before sun exposure...where do I incorporate my moisturizer? I thought spf was always last step?? My moisturizer does not have spf so will this still work if I use my regular moisturizer after?? Thanks!

According the Supergoop website, under how to use:

"If this is the only SPF product in your skincare routine, apply generously and evenly as your serum step, 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Pro Tip: Use Daily Dose Vitamin C + SPF 40 Serum as part of an SPF wardrobe to achieve your #skingoals. Apply 2-3 pumps as your serum step, then follow with your favorite SPF-spiked moisturizer, primer, or CC cream for happy, healthy skin."

So, @luvcj, you'd use it as a serum, then apply your moisturizer. You can patch test to see how it works. Good luck!

Ok thanks but seems weird lol. Or just not used to applying moisturizer after...interesting. 🤔

Yep, it is unusual, @luvcj. I think SPF is often tested and rated for being effective at the last step of skincare. So hopefully its SPF is the same with this being used in the middle of a routine. So its often recommended as being the last step, but isn't a requirement? Its also a Vitamin C serum, which should be applied after cleansing and toning. I hope it works for you!
