Has anyone tried the Supergoop Daily Dose Ceramide & SPF oil?

I recently got the Supergoop SPF oil. I absolutely love the idea of a sunscreen oil. It is hydrating, no worries of white cast or pilling.

But I’m a bit confused about how to use it. How much do you need to get proper coverage? Is it best to layer it with another sunscreen?

The packaging just says to “apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure”. I want to make sure I’m getting enough SPF 😬

@AleaR I had the same issue with this SPF, I don't feel like I can add enough of it to my face in order to get proper coverage without being a ball of grease.  Instead I use this as a daily oil where my regular oil would go in my routine and consider it a bit of 'extra' coverage with my regular SPF going over it after it's had time to soak in.

I think that’s the route I’ll take.

The rule of thumb is a teaspoon for coverage of the face. But it varies from product to product. Generally, just keep going until it stops getting absorbed.

That said, it’s only active for two hours… so you’ll have to reapply, and generally a lotion or serum like this is not something you’ll want to do that with. SuperGoop makes a refresh spray, but they have the absolute worst sprayer that breaks and clogs so I can’t recommend it. I use COOLA Organic Makeup Setting Spray SPF 30 1.5 oz

Oh my gosh yes. I was so excited to try the Supergoop setting spray. I got the travel size and the SPF powder they make. Unfortunately that setting spray is just so unpleasant.
