Super visible under eye circles

Hey there, I have an under eye bag problem that won’t seem to go away. Concealer doesn’t work, and I don’t want to use any products that have chemicals or could hurt my eye skin in the future. Any suggestions?

Re: Super visible under eye circles

@Moi3   To mask persistent undereye bags, one trick is to apply a concealer (1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone) only on the thin shadow where the bag meets the skin beneath it. This creates an optical illusion that makes the bag appear level with the surrounding skin. Just make sure not to get the light concealer shade on the bag. Wayne Goss has a good tutorial on this at YouTube.

Otherwise, you may wanna see a dermatologist about your undereye bags if they bother you. There are creams that’ll temporarily reduce bags (like Peter Thomas Roth Instant FIRMx Temporary Eye Tightener), but they may cause excessively dry skin with frequent use. A derm might have other recommendations, including in-office/clinic procedures.

If your bags aren’t persistent—maybe they disappear an hour or so after you wake up—then you might just need a cold compress and/or a serum or cream that contains caffeine to de-puff your eyes. I keep a jar of Good Molecules caffeine eye mask in my kitchen fridge; they’re great on mornings when my undereyes are super puffy.

You might want to watch some videos and do some reading on color correction @Moi3 Using a color collector before your concealer might be a helpful step. 👌
