Sunscreen

Hello, I’m new to this. I’m-looking for recommendations on a mineral sun screen for darker skin tone that leaves no white cast.

Re: Sunscreen

@shawnandrea  So far, these are the only mineral sunscreens that haven’t left a white cast on my skin:

CoTZ sunscreens are truly invisible, but they also tend to be too greasy for me—and I have mostly dry combo skin. I sometimes use their sensitive skin sunscreen on cold days when I’m not wearing makeup beyond brow pencil and lipstick. Otherwise that sunscreen gunks up my makeup brushes.

FARMACY - Green Defense Daily Mineral Sunscreen requires lots of rubbing to blend to invisibility, but it does get there. It makes my forehead itchy (eh, my skin’s finicky) so I use it as a body sunscreen instead.

CLINIQUE Mineral Face Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 1 oz and CLINIQUE - Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen Lotion for Body work well on my face. But if I sweat a lot, they melt off my face in white-tinted layers. These get used only in cold or cool weather.

I just ordered Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Sheer Mineral Sun Spray Sunscreen SPF 50 4 oz to try. It’s not something you spray directly on your face: you spray it into your hands first and then apply to face. I’ll find out soon if it works well for me.

I’m a longtime user of COOLA - Mineral Face Matte Tint Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 30; it’s the only tinted mineral sunscreen that works well with my particular skin tone and undertone.

Re: Sunscreen

Thank you so much for that. I believed I’ve found a mineral sunscreen in Biossance Zinc Screen no white cast.
