Thank you! 🙂

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I just wanted to take a minute to give this product a shout-out. I have oily skin and cystic acne and I have been trying different products and regimens for a few years to try to get clear skin. I’ve only used this for three days now, but I already see a big difference in my skin. It looks so much cleaner and healthier! It’s doing wonders for the dark circles under my eyes, too. I’m excited to see how I look after seven days, and with continued, consistent use.

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Mandalodon Thank you so much for sharing your results so far! We are so happy to hear that Good Genes is working for you!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

Hello -- Are there any products/ingredients I should not use in conjunction with Good Genes? For example, I know benzoyl peroxide and retinol cancel each other out. Salicylic acid and vitamin C serum cancel each other out, too. What ingredients should I avoid using at the same time with Good Genes?

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@fortissimo1104 Hello! The key ingredient in Good Genes is lactic acid. There are no specific products that we suggest avoiding when using it as part of your routine, but we do suggest using an SPF if you are using Good Genes during the day.

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I am on my 2nd jar of Blue Moon! This us THE best exfoliate on the planet. I thought.. hmmm.. results after one use.. hmmm, I will try it.. my next microderm is not due. OMG! Thus is microderm in a jar! My 55 year old complexion feels like it just had microderm, and reminds me of my skin in my 20's! I have told every friend I have, and all my professional people to do themselves a favor,  get Blue Moon! This stuff is genderless, not just for woman's skincare. My male friends are hooked too!

My question is, I  gave VERY dry skin, what SR moisturizer can I use. I'm a jewelry designer, and while I'm in the studio working, I keep a moisturizer on, no makeup. With clients, of course, full hair and cosmetics. I need hydration. I have been using Weleda Skin Food. I am a product junkie, but Sunday Riley is my favorite. Yes, I have the 7 day test. Thank you! ♡sBm

Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I've been using Good Genes only in the evenings. In the morning, I use Rodan and Fields for my acne, plus Biossance Rose oil. In the evenings, I'm using the Rodan and Fields cleanser and toner, then the Biossance Phyto-retinol serum, then good genes. Is that correct? what am I missing? I'm just starting to take care of my skin (a bit late in life), and any advice would be much appreciated. thanks!! 🙂 PS: I already can feel a difference after only three days. I love this product!

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@jazzmimi You are correct! Use your retinol serum first and then follow with Good Genes. Be sure you are moisturizing afterwards, we recommend our Tidal moisturizer!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I absolutely love Good Genes. I haven't used it in awhile and just got the kit with Luna. My question echos a lot of others. Where does this fit into my routine? I recently started prescription Retin-A and wasn't sure if I can use the Retin-A, Good Genes & Luna at the same time or should I not use Luna anymore? Thanks!

I currently use (AM) Josie Marin Cleansing Oil, Missha Time Revolution Clear Toner, SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, Olehenriksen Truth Serum, Good Genes, Clarins Concentre Zone Regard Super Restorative Total Eye Cream & Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lift & Firm Say Cream w/ SPF or sometimes EltaMD UV Clear SPF if I'm going outside.

(PM) Josie Marin Cleansing Oil, Missha Time Revolution Clear Toner, SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, Retin-A, Good Genes, Elizabeth Arden Advanced Cermide Eye Serum, Luna & Cle de Peau Beaute Intensive Eye Contour Cream.

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@DawningDragon Hey there! Your routine is very solid! You can use Good Genes after Retin-A, however we would suggest that you alternate the days that you are using Retin-A and Luna. We strongly advise using both Retin-A and Luna on the same day either day or night, as they are both retinol products and may cause sensitivity if used in combination.

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

How/ when can I use  Good Genes while microneedling?

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@LolaRam! We would skip using Good Genes on the day you micro-needle. Good Genes is an exfoliating product and you may experience sensitivity if you do both at the same time. Instead, you should follow your micro-needling with a hydrating product such as Juno or Tidal!

Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I absolutely ADORE Sunday Riley. I have been using the Good genes ever since it came out and fell in love. Most of my skincare is now Sunday Riley, I use the Good Genes, autocorrect under eye cream, Vitamin C cream, and I just added the Luna sleeping oil. Sunday Riley is hands down the best skin care I have ever used!

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@sparkles0913 Thank you so much! We love this!

RE: Re: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I had horrible acne scars, uneven skin tone and redness, I was very self conscious. The products totally turned my skin around to the point where people kept asking what my secret was and if I was getting $200 facials.

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

I am 4 days in the challenge and I have only applied it once a day before going to bed. The first day was good but then I started to feel some burning after I applied it. Every day the burning got a little more intense. I think I stop today and give my skin a break, maybe I only try to use once a week or so. It's too bad, my skin did feel a bit smoother, so I was curious to complete the challenge. The smell is a bit unpleasant and I can't detect lemongrass in it, but it's not that off putting that I would not use it. I have normal skin type and usually never experience any insensitivities.

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@Ninsch Hey there! Most people can use Good Genes daily, but for those who are sensitive we suggest limiting use to 2-3 times a week or every other day. Everyone’s rate of cell-turnover is different and some may not need daily exfoliation. Please let us know if this helps!

RE: Sunday Riley Real Results Challenge

@sundayriley, is your SpaceRace Acne Fighting kit/set okay to use on pre-teen skin? My daugther is only 10 but beginning to have some very small bumps on her forehead. I am sure she is about to enter into puberty soon. I had horrible skin as a preteen and already on a retin-A regimen with heavy oil production by age 12. I am looking to begin her on a minimal but effective skin care regimen that is appropriate for her age. But am wary of harsh ingredients and products because her skin is sooo young. Oil is truly a non-issue currently. She is normal/dry, I believe. But if she has skin like I did, oil control will become a major issue soon. Can we use this proactively/preventatively??
