Should I use a toner after or before a AHA/BHA pack or serum?

i am confused about using toner with the chemical exfoliators. eg. DE TLC glycolic acid or babyfacial. shall i use it? or directly apply face oil or moisturizer after it?

From what I've researched, "You should use a chemical exfoliant directly after cleansing and before using your toner."

So, yes, you should use a toner after an AHA/BHA.

@ItsAsh001  On the nights I do chemical exfoliation, the exfoliant is my toner step. So my routine looks like this on those nights: 

1. Remove makeup 

2. Wash 

3. Exfoliate 

4. Serums (including retinol, if it’s also a retinol night) 

5. Moisturize

@lmaster Similar. I'm more likely to exfoliate than tone, if either. 😃 But same for the rest! Wash, (exfoliate/tone,) essence, serums, moisturize.

@ItsAsh001 - It'll depend on what kind of toner you're using. If it's a hydrating toner, then it's after your actives. If it's a pH-balancing toner or exfoliating toner (ie. Pixi Glow or COSRX AHA/BHA Toner), then it's after cleansing and before exfoliating.
