Re: SPF: Know the Facts?

Hello Holly! Ooh I love quizzes and would love a sunscreen for sensitive skin. Lets see if I got this right...

1. Every day!

2. Aging

3. Preferrabley after but both if your makeup has spf 🙂

4. Mineral

What is the right amount to put on your face? I feel like Im not sure if I am ver putting enough. I know it depends how big your face is, but what is the general rule?

Re: SPF: Know the Facts?

I'm going to echo @bakeamuffin's sentiments - I'd love to see Supergoop readily available in Canada in the future 🙂 I've tried some of your products before and was quite pleased with most of them.

1. c

2. aging

3. before makeup for sure, but you can definitely use products on top to re-apply (like a powder or spray) so it's both!

4. generally I'd say mineral, but it really depends on which ingredients one's skin is sensitive to.

RE: SPF: Know the Facts?

Obsessed! I’ve gotten so many people hooked on the spray!!! Especially snowboarders and skiers!!

Re: SPF: Know the Facts?

@HelloHollySGI know you're supposed to use an ounce of liquid sunscreen for the body, or about a nickel sized dollop for the face, but how much of the powder sunscreen are you supposed to use?  I'm also wondering how much of the new setting spray you came out with is recommended for use to be properly protected.  I'm also wondering if you've tried photographing makeup with a flash with the new powder sunscreen and/or sunscreen setting spray -- to the point: is there flashback?

Re: SPF: Know the Facts?

Nice to meet!  Lots of answers for you...our Invincible Setting Powder is meant to deliver the perfect dose of reapplication with zero flashback so it's hard to say exactly how much is needed given that it is intended for reapplication --of course I'm obsessed with SPF so the more the better (and it is very sheer so it doesn't feel the least bit heavy)!  We recommend 8-10 mists of Defense Refresh for reapplication every two hours when in direct sunlight.
