Question about Drunk elephant TLC framboos night serum

I recently just bought the TLC framboos night serum from drunk elephant, I read many reviews saying that you really only needed 1 pump to cover your entire face, however, when I use it, one pump barely covers a quarter of my face. I was wondering if I am doing it wrong or maybe supposed to combine it with something else ?

@kaileypen I mix it with B-Hyrda 1/2 or 1 pump and couple of drops of Marula oil. Both these products help with hydration so good to use with exfoliating product. 

 if you want to apply without mixing -

1. You can  spritz your face with a hydrating mist before using TLC

2. just use it right after washing when face has some moisture on from washing

3. Don't put it on your palms and rub them then apply, take it in your palm (1.5 pump maybe and then use two fingers in your other hand to spread it on your very slightly damp face

Thank you so much! What kind of hydrating mist would you recommend? I don’t really have any! Just mac fix plus ? Do you think that would work??

No @kaileypen, Mac Fix plus is setting spray so I wouldn't use it as first step in skincare. Just plain rosewater in a mist bottle (both available on Amazon) if you want to keep things simple.

If you want other things (I used Missah brand earlier and like it but I only use Drunk Elephant skin care now), here are few things that would work well -

1. MISSHA First Treatment Essence Mist (I used it in the past and like it) - Available on sokoglam, Target locally & on website

2. SK-II Facial Treatment Essence (I liked it butThis is expensive, above is considered a dupe for this one by many)

3. Hada Labo Super Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion - very popular and liked option (no personal experience)

4. COSRX Galactomyces 95 White Power Essence - Liked by many. No personal experience

5. Tatcha LUMINOUS DEWY SKIN MIST - Liked by many. No personal experience

If you ask me, my personal recommendation would be to mix it with Drunk Elephant B-Hydra or any other facial oil (Marula, Argan, Rosehip seed) and you can find many affordable as well as luxury options in Sephora.

I usually spritz my face with a face mist first (currently using rose water) and that helps with product distribution. This way a pump and a half covers my entire face.
