Peter Thomas Roth Mask Mashup Gratis

I just received a gratis package from @peterthomasroth, which is the Mask Mashup 6-Piece Kit. I can't wait to try everything and give some feedback. Thank you so very much @SephoraBIC and @peterthomasroth! 

It contains a sampler kit with 6 of PTR's most popular masks. Specifically, it contains Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask (Purifying, Decongesting, and Hydrating), Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask (Restoring, Revitalizing, and Brightening), 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask (Lifting, Firming, & Glowing), Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme De-Tox Hydrator (Soothing, Hydrating, & Detoxifying), Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask (Nourishing, Hydrating, & Restoring), and the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Enzymatic Dermal Resurfacer (Exfoliating, Peeling, and Polishing).

I didn't see any other threads on this yet nor did I see an official thread to post about this gratis package, so hopefully it's ok that I'm posting this. 

I'm so excited to give these a try and share what I think!!

I really have had a great experience with the Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask. I've used it several times now (usually in the 10-20 minute range, though the instructions state to keep on for 10 minutes). In the past, I've found some mud masks a bit difficult to wash off; however, I found that this one can be removed very easily from my skin with very little effort. I appreciate that!

It seems to do a great job clearing out my pores and making my skin feel cleaner. I have been struggling the past few days with slightly clogged pores and blemishes, and this has done a very nice job drawing out some of the oils and clearing up my skin.

I didn't notice any sensitivity or irritation from using this (and I have quite sensitive skin). Another plus is that even though I've used it several times in the past few days, it hasn't dried out my skin. This is definitely something I plan to repurchase. My skin really likes it!

@PrettyPaint  I agree completely!! I tried the Irish Moor Purifying Black mask and left in on between 10-15 minutes and then rinsed it off in the shower. My face looked fresh and clean, with my pores looking smaller. No dryness at all. Will probably try to keep this on hand, especially during the summer months! 😊

A cross-post from the mask challenge thread on the PTR Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask. This is the only one of the set that I haven't tried before, so I grabbed this one last night to try it out. Thank you again Sephora and PTR for the set!

To start, I had heard that some people have had a problem getting this mask out of the tube due the mask's thickness but, luckily, I didn't seem to have any issues getting the mask out. However, I did struggle to get it on. It did not spread easily and I felt like I had to use way more of the mask that I should in order to cover my face. I followed the instructions which say to let it sit on your face for a few minutes and then wet your fingers to massage the mask before removal. And that was when the heat came! It didn't last long, but holy burst of flames, Batman! The heating sensation did dissipate quickly as I worked more water over my face to actually rinse off the mask. Once it was off, I didn't see any noticeable results on my face, perhaps a little bit of softness on feel but nothing appearance wise. I followed with the rest of my routine and went to bed and had nothing new to report in the a.m. I'm glad I got to try this out, but I'm not really a fan of heated masks in general. Give me a cool aloe mask any day of the week over something that makes me feel like I'm experiencing a hot flash, lol. In conclusion, is this an interesting one to try? Yes. Would I run out to purchase the full-size? Nope.

Hi @quspork, it’s so great there’s a large variety of masks to meet the preferences of different ppl. I love heated masks and would almost always choose them over the cooling masks. Glad PTR makes so many different kinds of masks.

Oh yes, @newcarlee, as with all beauty products, these masks are certainly YMMV! If you love a mask that heats, this might be a good one for you!

So excited! I was also lucky enough to receive this wonderful gratis from PTR. Thankfully, it arrived the day I moved - how funny! So the masks have survived a trek across the country from Texas to Ohio. The Pumpkin mask is an OG favorite of mine and I’m really excited to try out the Irish Moor and Thermal Water.
