I just received a gratis package from @peterthomasroth, which is the Mask Mashup 6-Piece Kit. I can't wait to try everything and give some feedback. Thank you so very much @SephoraBIC and @peterthomasroth!
It contains a sampler kit with 6 of PTR's most popular masks. Specifically, it contains Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask (Purifying, Decongesting, and Hydrating), Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask (Restoring, Revitalizing, and Brightening), 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask (Lifting, Firming, & Glowing), Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme De-Tox Hydrator (Soothing, Hydrating, & Detoxifying), Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask (Nourishing, Hydrating, & Restoring), and the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Enzymatic Dermal Resurfacer (Exfoliating, Peeling, and Polishing).
I didn't see any other threads on this yet nor did I see an official thread to post about this gratis package, so hopefully it's ok that I'm posting this.
I'm so excited to give these a try and share what I think!!
Here are some photos:
Congratulations to the following masking lovelies who also received this wonderful surprise (I'll try to update as needed, but let me know if I've missed anyone):
Also...I will add this here as well so nobody misses it!!
The PTR Mask Mashup is occuring this weekend (June 21-23) for everyone to try any/all of the PTR masks they would like and share their feedback!
@eshoe put a survey up in the masking thread and will post results on Monday so everyone can add their thoughts.
Please see the 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge thread for more info:

It looks to be the sampler I've tagged:
Another week, another mask session! Last night, I took thePETER THOMAS ROTH - Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask for a spin since I've been having more break outs than usual lately. After removing the mask, I didn't notice any immediate results like I did with the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, but my skin felt soft, smooth, and hydrated. The full details of my masking experience are below.
Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask:
I used my mask spatula to slather on a thickish layer on my face and neck. What I noticed immediately was my skin had no initial reaction. With a lot of mud masks, my skin starts to burn a little when I first put them on, but that feeling usually goes away with time. With the Irish Moor Mud Mask, there was none of that, so this mask is definitely sensitive skin approved!
The directions said to leave the mask on for 10 minutes, but I left it on for 20 minutes. It never dried down, which is another difference between this mask and other mud masks I've used in the past. It was also very easy to take off with a damp washcloth. The direction recommend using a dark washcloth, but I only use white washcloths for my face. I used one that's heavily stained from makeup, so I'm not too worried about the mask leaving any stains.
I followed the mud mask with the Neutrogena Hydrating Hydrogel Mask and No7 Eye Masks, which I left on for 20 minutes. Then I finished my evening routine with the usual suspects, Kiehl's Serum, Moisturizer, and Eye Cream. I ended with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Overnight Gel Mask, which I left on for 20 minutes to soak in before massaging it into my face and neck. The same pilling happened, so I think gel masks in general don't work with my moisturizer. This morning, my face looked clearer and brighter! The one bump on my chin stayed around, but it was much smaller than it was before my masking session. Although this mask didn't provide immediate results, I would still rank it on par with the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, and I would buy the full size version. Grade: A
I'm glad you liked it! I haven't tried it yet and am looking forward to it!
So glad you love this one @sephoraaddict918. Me too! I think it's probably the most gentle mud mask I've used and that's why it suits me so well. I'll be purchasing this one too.
@sephoraaddict918 Yes to sensitive skin approved! This experience is making me really looking forward to trying mine sometime in the next week! Mud masks that don’t dry down and aren’t impossible to wash off >>>>>>
Ok soooooo I have had a heck of time lately at home with a pup prepping for surgery this week BUT my patch tests are all done and everything is good! I will be using one or two this week!! Love all the reviews you guys have been posting - super detailed and helpful! A little bummed I missed the masking meetup but looking forward to posting my thoughts here and in the mask of the week challenge 😍
Hope all goes well with your pup's surgery @cianni!
Thank you!! @veronika23 ❤️ He’s getting a knee replacement 😰
Awwww poor pup! I'm sure he will be just fine and have a fast recovery! 🖤 @cianni
My post from Sat got burried so here is a re-cap :
PTR 24 Gold mask - Left skin soft and moisyurized (sort of like a layer) so would be good one to use before make-up if you have any dry patches.
PTR Irish Mud Moor - DD said it left her skin soft. I saw clearer and brighter skin
PTR Cucumber Gel mask - Nice cooling feeling. Soft skin. Not sure if I will purchase
PTO Hungarian Thermal Mask - Felt ok. Left skin soft. Did not feel the thermal part so might have to try again (though I did massage with wet fingers)
PTR Pumpkin Enzyme mask - Left skint clearer and brighter, mild physical exfoliation. Bit tingly. Seemed to help bumps in the skin little bit so texture was smoother. Will purchase this for longer consistent use to see the long term results.
Winner - Pumpkin Enzyme, runner up - Irish Mud moor
Haven't yet got a chance to try the Rose one.
None of these irritated skin of any of the 3 maskers here (for 2 of us - skin can be bit finicky sometimes). so that is another plus.
Hydrating mask from this set - I was trying to compare those with Farmacy honey mask or Dr Jart Ceramidine masks and few others similar and these do not stack as well. I feel like skin softness maybe from having something wet on your face for 10+ min.
@veronika23 Sorry, I haven;t got a chance to update the survey yet. Not sure if you pulled the results but I should be able to add it in next couple of days.
@naturalooks15 Thanks for the comprehensive review of the set. Glad your DD could try some too!
@naturalooks15 I did pull it last night around 5:30. I will PM you the link so you can add your thoughts, though👍🏼
Thanks for your thoughts @naturalooks15! Pretty sure that tag wasn't meant for me 😉
Thanks @veronika23 😄😄 The tag was for @PrettyPaint and @eshoe
i have been having trouble posting through web browser when on phone, it keeps scrolling up so hard to see what am I typing or even tagging
No worries! Sorry you are having trouble though @naturalooks15. 😞
@naturalooks15 I tried the thermal mask again today, and I still couldn't get a warming effect. This time I really applied a thick layer and spent some time massaging it in with wet fingers....but still nothing. I don't get it!
@naturalooks15 , I finally tried the Thermal Mask last night, and while I didn't find it warming, I really liked the smell! That sounds silly because it's not a nice smell, but it does smell like the minerals that are supposed to be in it. I liked it more than I thought I would!
(Cross post from masking thread)
For the PTR meet up, on Sunday morning I tried the Irish Moor, the 24K gold mask and the Skyn eye mask (I've used these before and love them). And Sunday evening, I tried the Cucumber mask.
Thanks for your reviews @GalPalVal17. I also really like the irish moor. It is so quick and effective at clearing out the grime!
Just a quick mini review of the 24k gold mask. I have never used this one before. I used it this AM after washing my face. This was after a hard workout and I was red faced. I left it on for 10 min. It felt soothing and cooled me down. Skin felt soft afterwards. I followed up with my normal routine. Was fun to use not sure if I would purchase it though?
This is cross-posted on the masking thread also.
I was not expecting to like this mask. I just finished using the PETER THOMAS ROTH - Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask
that I received as gratis. I didn’t have any problem getting it out of the tube or spreading it on my face. It did feel very oily/greasy on my face which was not pleasant, BUT after I waited 4 minutes the fun began. I would wet my fingertips and massage my face in the same spot and within seconds it would warm up in the spot I massaged. When the feeling would subside I would rewet my fingers and move into another section of my face. I continued this process until I could no longer produce a warming sensation. My face feels soft, nourished and moisturized. I definitely can see me buying a mini of this after I work through some of my open masks. A-
