OILY SKIN

Hello ladies, I have oily skin. I am currently using the Fenty Beauty Foundation, at first I loved it and I would wear it all day with no setting powder and my face would not get oily, maybe a tad bit but at the end of the day and now I started getting oily by midday and I am inside all day, I don't sweat or nothing. But mind you, I bought another one and that's when I started having more oiliness. So is there a foundation that does not leave your face oily but it looks dewy. I dislike for my face to look matte and for it not to look moisturized. So any recommendations on foundations or face primers before applying the foundation? I already tried the Estee Lauder matte foundation, the Maybelline FitMe Foundation (matte).

RE: OILY SKIN

@JackelynXO I use and love Fenty and well. What makes me stay matte on even the hottest LA day is Cane & Austin Prime+Protect primer with SPF 50. It’s a smoothing and mattifying primer that works amazing under any foundation. It will keep you shine free all day with a great SPF. I love a glow so if you have a super matte foundation, add some liquid highlighter to it. I use the CoverFX drops but even Wet N Wild makes them now and they’re great. It’s an awesome cocktail.

Re: OILY SKIN

@JackelynXO Try the Lancome Tient Idole. It isn't a full matte like the fenty, so you may need to set your T-zone slightly. This is somewhat of a natural finish, has medium to full build-able coverage (more coverage with a sponge) and lasts on my skin without getting greasy looking for about 10 hours, while most take about 5. Personally for primer i like the ones from J.One. But i know a lot of people aren't fond of those, Dr. Brant Pores No More is another one of my favorites and keeps my oil under control. You may also want to consider a setting spray if you ever find that something is too matte, you can always add a dewy setting spray on top. If I'm not going for longevity i will add a luminous spray, but if i need my makeup to last all day I go with  Cover FX Mattifying setting spray. If i want luminosity with either Mac Fix + or the Illuminating  Setting Spray from Cover FX.

Re: OILY SKIN

OMG thank you girly. I am going to give it a try and see how it goes.
