Nighttime Moisturizer

Looking for a good nighttime moisturizer, that isn’t too greasy. My skin is dehydrated but oily, i also get flaky skin on the cheeks and nose.

Estee Lauder has a great nighttime recovery serum that you can put under a cream if you're worried about a night cream being too thick and greasy.

Otherwise I've had good luck with Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass cream - a little goes a LONG way but it works really well on my flaky areas.

And it layers with all my other skincare just fine. I really love it.

@novalee1 I used to have oily/dehydrated skin. I’m 37 years old. At night, I love Drunk Elephant Protini™ Polypeptide Firming Refillable Moisturizer 1.69 oz/ 50 mL . During the day, I love either MURAD - Nutrient-Charged Water Gelor Drunk Elephant B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum with Hyaluronic Acid 1.69 oz/ 50 mL . Both are great for daytime since they’re not too thick. I also live my the Korean “7 skin method” which is essentially layering a hydrating essence 7 times in a row after cleansing. I use Pyunkang Yul Essence Mist Toner. You can find it online for $16. It’s an instant way to hydrate and plump your skin. At first I was doing that everyday for 2 months. After my skin became hydrated, I do it every 2-3 days now. It’s a beautiful regimen that truly does work.

@novalee1 I love using the glow recipe watermelon sleeping mask and their pink juice watermelon moisturizer. They work so well for me and absorb nicely without leaving a greasy feeling. My sister who has even more dehydrated skin then me also loves the Glow Recipe moisturizer and the Murad nutrient charged water gel moisturizer.

I have dry to normal skin and get oily on my nose! I really enjoy the kopari coconut face cream! Slightly light sent goes away after it dries down, which it does very quickly! Its clean at Sephora and It’s a good price for a high end moisturizer and it has 2.5 oz!!!! This lasted me around 7 months and I used it daily! I really enjoy it and will always repurchase

Agree below with the person who suggested sheer transformation. You can also try a gel textured moisturizer such as KORRES - Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturiser or anything from the Clinique moisture surge line, which helps hydrate but is formulated for oilier skin types.

Also for hydration - I find that many thing layers goes a longer way than a thick layer of moisturizer. A good serum makes a big different. I love the CAUDALIE - Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum.

If your skin is dehydrated and oily your skin if probably over producing oil to compensate for all that dryness. I would recommend a hydrating and soothing toner, I use the belief witch hazel one, I have dry skin and it’s been fabulous. I use a few hydrating serums but since you asked about a moisturizer, I would highly recommend the drunk elephant protini moisturizer. It is like a protein smoothie for your face and it is clean at Sephora certified.

I recommend the OLEHENRIKSEN - Sheer Transformation® Perfecting Moisturizer. I have found this moisturizer, helps to hydrate and balance my skin but does not feel heavy. It assists with dryness, dark spots, uneven tone and dullness, and uneven texture. Hope this helps!
