This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

January	Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings.
February	Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC.
March	March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please!

May	Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O.

@Kim888 ehhh, no biggie.  It looked cute for the five minutes I had it on, I guess.

Too bad this was so ill suited for you @CookieGirl1. The illustration on the packaging makes it look like it would be a 2-piece mask. I wonder if that would have made for a better fit, or if you made it a 2-piece mask yourself. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

@itsfi It actually was a two-piece mask but that didn't change how poorly it fit.

Not on theme but I’m working through masks that expire soon! I did the clay mask first and wanted to add hydration after. TJ clay mask I left on for around 10 minutes and the Cica mask I left on for 30 minutes! I always use the clay mask when I am breaking out and it helps dry them out. It works so good! I love it. The Cica mask was large which is good for me I just press the extras down where they lay. I felt nice and hydrated after.

I love that Heimish mask, @ather. Always good to have a couple of those around for masking mayhem 😂 Or just for some extra soothing, like you did 🙂 I had that TJ's mask and have never opened it. Did it dry down at all?

@eshoe  It does dry down. I try and take it off before it drys down to much. It does dry my skin a bit too but that’s what a good hydrating mask is for!!

Hear, hear, @ather! I have tried that technique in the past but *kind of* over did it. A double masking like this sounds very reasonable (not to mention, smart!).

Okay, I never have ever considered double masking. Wow. Mind. Blown 🤯 that makes so much good sense.  

@ather I read this yesterday, I decided to exfoliate ( rarely do I ever with my skin type) but I followed up with a ceramide mask and it was so soothing. I would have normaly just done basic skin care and let my skin calm down but this was so much nicer, thanks for the inspiration ‌💖‌ I didn't use a mask to exfoliate (I have a few i'm just nervous to use lol)

@CynthieLu  Yay! I’m glad I could inspire you!! I love multi masking but I don’t always have the time. I definitely use a moisture mask after using an acid or an exfoliating item. I have such dry skin if I don’t I peel and shed bad. I have a bad spot right now from using acne products. Hopefully you can discover lots of masking combinations!

@ather, love a multi-masking sesh with a detoxifying mask and then a hydrating and soothing mask. These two sound like a wonderful treat for the skin. 😍

P.S. You're very much on point, btw. You have your G for grocery store mask with the Trader Joe's clay mask and a G for gotu kola or tiger grass for the sheet mask, which are other names for cica.

I agree. I have been into multi masking lately! Although normally don’t use a ton of detoxifying masks this time of year without using a hydrating mask. I get extra dry this time of year and the detox masks really dry me out. Which is great when I’m breaking out.

I had a chance to try out the new SEPHORA COLLECTION Prebiotic Smoothie Mask - I tried the strawberry version!

so I really just bought this because I wanted the 4x the points on my order a few weeks ago but this is actually a pleasant surprise. 

In both scent and consistency it’s quite like organic strawberry yogurt. Like a nice faint earthy strawberry scent. I left this one for about 15 minutes and then took a shower. 

Usually my face feels dry when I get out but it actually felt nice and hydrated. I would say I got more like 4 hours of hydration, not 8 but I do have dry skin. 

overall for the price this is super solid and there’s definitely several uses in the tub. 

I also tried this Anti-stress Clay mask

this came in one of the Ulta gwp. It did have a nice scent and was way to apply. I’m just not sure i understand this mask and I don’t think it did anything. Like ultimately it’s still a clay mask which doesn’t make my skin feel less stressed but also doesn’t do anything for pores which is why I use a clay mask

@Kim888, great to hear the strawberry mask worked out for you. The strawberry one seems better suited for those with dry skin. You should give it a try as an overnight mask too.

@itsfi @I actually thought it was an overnight mask when I bought it but then the instructions said wash it off ! But im definitely down to try it both ways !
