Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.
Masking Spreadsheet Info
Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).
Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.
Additional Info:
Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!
Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-
Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word
Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
There are 2 ways to edit a response:
1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:
2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet
Thanks @eshoe for putting this together!
Rules
Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.
Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.
Have Fun!!
P.S. If you have any suggestions or challenge recommendations feel free to message me and I'll add them to the list.

Merry Masking!
Thanks @missjeanie ! @eshoe was so kind to send me the Unicorn headband in her Unicorn Mail last summer!
@keana1 I love it! You make such an awesome unicorn! 🦄👍
Your A+'s are mine as well! – love the PTR Pumpkin Enzyme Mask and the Wander Eye Patches! I'm happy to hear you feel the same!
I love all the DIY concoctions you come up with! I'm impressed every time! Glad you saw results from it!! 🙌😍
Thanks @Shosh85 ! I’m glad that your A+ are the same! Experiment is my new middle name 🤓😂 !
I'm loving the metallic shine from the unicorn horn and the eye patches. Even better is all the A and A+ ratings! Now I want those eye masks for some well rested eyes @keana1.
Thanks @ShortErica ! @eshoe sent me the unicorn headband last summer ( Thanks shoe 🥰 ) . ❤️ the eye patches, you should definitely try them !
My last post for Week 5, and my last masks for e-shoe - week, though I am sure I will be using and posting about other masks that I've received from e-shoe or that I associate with her; it'll just be on a new thread (thanks, E!), which goes live Monday (tomorrow) and which I'll link below. It's been a lot of fun choosing the various masks and incorporating them into the different challenge themes.
My weekend masking consisted of the Sanrio Hello Kitty Cherry Blossom Sheet Mask, a gift from @Indy701, on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and for tonight, the Sephora Collection Eye Mask (Orchid) and the bkr Paris Water Lip Balm. To close out Week 5, I’ll use the Megrythm Gentle Steam Eye Mask (Unscented) just before calling it a night - it's a tried-and-true favorite, one I reach for when I have trouble sleeping, or when I just want a nice few minutes to relax and unwind before drifting off to sleep.

@missjeanie, yes, these are rather elusive. I think these are the most difficult of the Sephora eye masks to locate; the honey eye masks, which I also like, are also hard to get a hold off.
Eshoe-dedication week was a lot of fun. She’s done a lot of heavy lifting to keep this thread fun and engaging. Everyone here contributes to that and it’s great to connect with others over our love of masks, though it can certainly make the list of masks I want to buy a lot longer. 😂😂😂
@itsfi My mask list is growing at an exponential rate!
Hahahahaha! 😂😂😂😂 @missjeanie
We’re just starting February too! 😉
I know @itsfi !! I need another face to put these masks on!
@missjeanie If you find another face for masks, pick one up for me too! 😂😂
@itsfi I've noticed that about those eye masks! Next time (hopefully there is a next time) they pop up I'll be sure to grab some! Glad to hear you like these so much! 👍🤗
@Shosh85, the orchid and honey eye masks seem to disappear and reappear on the website from time to time. Those two are nice. I also really like the pearl and cucumber eye masks.
@itsfi The pearl and cucumber ones are favorites of mine, but the cucumber has been OOS for awhile now – I do still have two to use though! 🥒 I also grabbed a honey one last time I saw it – I really like that one as well and try to grab it when I see it🍯
These are also great if your trying to get the price up for a promo. 😉😂
@Shosh85, that’s what I tell myself as I’m adding them to my cart - “oh, just one more mask; gotta get that pricing discount.” Hahaha! 😂😂😂 Makes me a little nervous that the cucumber 🥒 mask has been OOS lately; will it go the way of the orchid and honey ones? Now you see it, now you don’t!
My Sunday masking for E/Lip/Hand/Feet week!
I used the Ole Henriksen Sugar glow mask for some Exfoliation. I just felt like I could use a good scrub. This mask has been a good one. I enjoy it, the scent is light and nice, the scrub isn't too vicious on my skin, but still lets me feel like I got a good scrub in. It is sticky as all heck if it gets in your hair, on the flip side though, it doesn't taste awful if some gets in your mouth.
The Life Brand Exfoliating Foot Mask hit both categories this week. It had a pleasant scent, though stronger than I was expecting. A bit like a lime tree, not the lime juice, but the tree and some light citrus. I kept them on my feet for about a half hour, directions said to leave them on for 15-20, I had a light tingle on the top of my feet, but it was so light I could barely detect it, we'll see in 3-5 days how I feel about this.
The Esfolio Hand and Nail mask again, covered two categories this week. I really enjoyed this. The scent was indeed reminiscent of the pink J&J baby lotion, though I found it quite light and wasn't bothered by it at all. The gloves were a bit short in the fingers, but too big around. I pretty much sat there for a half hour watching TV and rubbing my hands together with the gloves on. It felt really nice, there was plenty of serum and my cuticles and skin felt well moisturized. I'd buy these again after I use up the rest of the package.
The Skin Sugar Lip scrub is a no for me. I'll finish using it up, but I wouldn't recommend it or re purchase ever. There is a flavour to this that reminds me of getting perfume in your mouth. No thank you. There are a decent amount of granules, but my lips feel dry after.
I decided to use the Leneige tonight to try and use some of it up. I like the feel of it, I enjoy the scent, but it wore off after an hour or so in front of the TV. I won't re purchase, but I'll use it up.
The Creme Shop watermelon mask just happened to be the one I pulled out of my Winners haul to use tonight. The scent wasn't exactly watermelon to me, it was like watermelon mixed with something, a light and enjoyable fruity scent. I kept it on for about 20 minutes when the chin started to dry a bit and come off my face. I left the mask on for another 10 minutes and then removed it and massaged in the rest of the clear, light gelish serum. My skin felt nice, and had some decent hydration to it, but it wasn't as good as the Hyaluronic acid mask I used from Cream Shop last week. I'll happily use the rest of the package, but I think I'd pick up something different next time.
The Shea Moisture Body mask... I won't lie... I bought this just cause it said body mask lol. I have used the bar soap of this line to clean my make up brushes before and really like the scent. The mask itself is a dense mousse type texture and is meant to relieve dry, itchy skin. Heres the thing with this guy though... you put it on for 15-20 minutes before you shower it off. So I spent 20 minutes standing in my bathroom naked, covered in this grey mask. My skin does feel nice after my shower and I felt super decadent doing a full body mask. I feel like a good body cream could have had similar results but for about 2$ a go, hey... I won't complain!
I think this is a record for how many mask type products I've used in one day!
Thanks for these reviews, @missjeanie! I've seen that Esfolio hand mask show up a few times and have been curious, but haven't tried it out. I'm glad to hear it worked well for you!
