Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

I didn’t use the lace mask this time and I have to say it’s easier to remove the mask when the lace is applied. I only apply this to my tzone. I also use my Nyakio soothing oil afterwards to help with the redness.

@emaisgr8 I have this one as well, but am taking my time getting to it because it doesn't seem anyone has liked it much! Good for you for trying it again! I'm not against peel-off masks, because I think most of the time they are great at cleaning and reducing pores, but I wouldn't say they're a favorite! 😂

@emaisgr8, you’re brave to use this mask again. I noticed on the packaging it says the peel intensity is a “medium.” Have you tried other peel off masks and if so, do you think “medium” intensity for this peel off is accurate?

@itsfi  I would call it medium. I’ve used others that put me in tears. This one wasn’t that bad. I still one about one or two uses left. I use it when my pores look super clogged. I’ve definitely used more gentler peel masks before. I think it’s important to only use this on the tzone. I remember using a freemen’s peel off mask once that was extremely painful.

I think I’ll pass on the lace mask @emaisgr8 ! It sounds very unpleasant to use and remove! I’m so glad that the Nyakio oil blend was soothing!

Yes @Kim888 it does help. I use it whenever my skin gets irritated.

This description as well as @lmaster ‘s experience lead me far, far away from this mask, @emaisgr8 ! Hoping the redness has completely subsided by now.

@emaisgr8 yes this mask hurt me so bad, I'll never use it again 😩 I I did apply too much I think, and it felt literally like my skin was ripping off

The packaging on this is nice... not sure I would buy it though because it's a peel off 😄 @emaisgr8

The end of D week & I saved the best for last 😍 (I'm sure there were other loves this week but y'all get it😁) D is for Decadence. I pulled out all the masks/scrubs that i can think of that are rich, thick & sweet! Honey, chocolate & caramel! The mask was a gift from the lovely @lmaster. Soaked with serum, I even threw in a blank mask that @eshoe gifted me to make me another (it's in the refrigerator as we speak err...type) left it on for about 40 min or so I lost count tbh & applied the lip scrub while I was masking. Yum! I had to make a point to not want to lick my lips😋. Took the mask off it was a lil dry, stuck to the top part of my face but my skin was soft & plump! A+ definitely repurchasing! the scrub is great too A! added to loves list but is currently oos. But the caramel...I have 3 ds of this but the smell & texture.😍 When a good promo comes in I'm picking up a full size.! Great night masking & shopping my stash!

Great masking @sonnydee ! Caramel, chocolate...your making me hungry 😋! I haven’t tried any of the Fresh lip balms and scrubs, I feel like I’m missing out on them ! Need some, want some! 😬 The BioBelle mask sounds great, another one to add to my list !

Thanks for your review on this one @sonnydee! 😄 An A+ mask is one I need to try! I set it aside for “C” week but didn’t get to it; looks like it could make an appearance during “G” week, for glow! ☺️ Love the Fresh lip products!! 💖
