March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
That sounds like a great combination!! @Shosh85 minus the alcohol ๐
@lmaster It really was a great combo! The Aloe mask was a good way to balance out the alcohol ๐
I've wondered about both of these Lapcos masks @Shosh85. So happy to hear that these were great for your skin! ๐ Love the results you got from the Milk Feel - soft and smooth skin is great any time of the year but especially as the weather starts to cool.
@itsfi I've tried 8 varieties, and so far I think this is a good line of masks, just nothing amazing. The Honey one is definitely my favorite so far!๐ฏ๐
Have you tried any Lapcos masks?
@Shosh85, Iโve tried a couple of the Lapcos masks; and Iโm pretty sure I have a variety pack I picked up at Costco earlier this year or late last year. I have the honey one you generously sent me - thank you! ๐ค Iโm saving that for late fall / winter when my skin will need that honey goodness! ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฏ
L is for lemons ๐๐๐ (and this is also my yellow submission for the other week's rainbow week challenge - thank you @sonnydee! ๐)

Very pretty photo, @itsfi! Great that YTTP has a mini of that mask now, too ๐
Thank you @eshoe. Itโs nice to see more products, especially masks, available in mini sizes. ๐๐ผ๐
@itsfi Your photos are all so charming! And ouhhh that Avatara mask sounds wonderfully brightening and gently exfoliating! Why Iโm looking for more masks is beyond me but here I am.
@heartsmyface, awww, thank you, hon! ๐ค These avatara masks are nice; Iโve liked all the ones Iโve tried so far. I wish I had picked up more when I first happened upon them.
โWhy Iโm looking for more masks is beyond me...โ Itโs for science, hearts. All for science. ๐ฌ๐งช๐
The vintage-looking packaging of the Kokostar mask is so appealing, @itsfi! Sucked me in immediately (as did your entire flatlay). And I LOVE the YTTP dream mask--it was my go-to winter moisturizer last year and I actually have one just waiting for me to start using in a month or two when the air gets colder and drier.
@CookieGirl1, thank you for your kind words. โบ๏ธ Oh yes, 100% agree with you - I like (and miss) the vintage packaging on the Kocostar slice masks. My recollection is that the packaging for their hand, foot and hair masks are still styled with this vintage design. Functionality is the same but thereโs something visually appealing to me about the original packaging and seeing it on my table. ๐
I can definitely see how YTTP is a winter go to. โฅ๏ธ Do you use it day and night? My primary winter moisturizer is a combo of belif moisturizing bomb + The Ordinary rosehip seed oil, and Iโll reach for a heavier/creamier moisturizer when needed. The YTTP is looking like itโll be that moisturizer.
@itsfi I CAN use the mask as a moisturizer both day and night because it actually seems to sit well under makeup but I prefer to use it primarily at night, for the most part, unless my skin is extremely dry.
That makes sense @CookieGirl1. It is very nourishing. ๐
@itsfi Such a great picture, as usual! Yellow is such a cheerful color ๐๐๐
The Avatara mask sounds wonderful! Glad it could help calm and brighten! Love that you got an added bonus of bouncy-ness ๐๐
Awww, thank you @Shosh85! ๐ค Yellow puts a smile on my face. ๐๐๐ Bouncy skin is something I like more and more with each passing day. ๐
I feel the same way @itsfi love the flavor of the scrub,, but wish it didn't melt so fast
Something about lemonade draws me in @lmaster! ๐ It would have been great if they kept the formulation but were able to put it in tube form.
Okay! I decided to do a pedicure last night and that never happened but I told myself Iโd do one this morning instead. I got the foot bath down from my closet and ended up cleaning and reorganizing my palettes๐
Itโs now 3pm and hot water is in the foot bath. I stuck my feet in and of course it spilled out all over so I had to clean that up and add some cooler water cause ouch! Settled in and soaking my feet.
Step 1 - salt soak. The soak smells like straight up cinnamon and is tinted orange. I suppose thatโs one of the pumpkin spices so not mad just not what I expected. It still smells great! There are no instructions for how long to soak my feet so I am going with 20 minutes cause Iโm enjoying the vibration and massage and I didnโt pull this foot bath out and clean my closet for nothing!
Step 2- sugar scrub- this smells like pure cinnamon as well. Whereโs the nutmeg and clove? A quick look at the ingredients says they didnโt bother with anything but pumpkin extract and cinnamal. Is cinnamal another word for cinnamon? Oh itโs what gives cinnamon itโs scent. And itโs toxic for fish if it gets into the water supply. Hmmmm. The scrub feels great and smells great even though it doesnโt smell like pumpkin spice.
Step 3- mud mask-again just smells like cinnamon. Is this why this product was in a subscription box? The mask is suuuuuper creamy. Itโs to be kept on for 3-5 minutes. Iโm going with 5 cause Iโve gotta make this process and the cleanup afterward worth it. The mask doesnโt dry down and is easy to rinse off.
Step 4- massage butter- cinnamon scented massage butter. Itโs thinner than what I consider massage butter but itโs still thick moisturizing and smells good. Thereโs more massage butter than you could possibly need for your whole body in a packet so I will smell like cinnamon for a while:D
All in all a good experience. My feet are happy for the love and smell like cinnamon:). Iโd recommend this but donโt expect pumpkin spice.
โ
That foot bath looks super relaxing, I'm sorry getting it out though was a bit of a hassle, @heartsmyface!! Glad the mask set seemed to work out, although too bad it didn't smell like pumpkin!!
@heartsmyface Well, it's a bit of a bummer there was no Pumpkin scent, but cinnamon still sounds great and the foot bath just looks SO relaxing! Glad you could pamper yourself a little! ๐
