Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Morning and afternoon masking today:

Sorry for the total distraction but after I snapped the first pic I noticed the little rainbow showing up on her mirror. I took a few more photos but besides that, it was a good mask. Decent fit, no adjustments, clean scent-a good mask that set the tone for the day. My skin did appear slightly brighter but it was superficial due to the light serum. Wouldn’t repurchase but not bad.

I was pretty excited to use this Sephora mask as it promises to prime and hydrate.

I think I may have purchased one that was older or transported at high temps; it’s appearance was not pleasant and I was a little hesitant to try it out. When removed from the package, it was quite dry. The fit was fairly good, a big bonus for this one. There was no extra serum, but I wasn’t too concerned as it’s a 3-minute mask. I removed promptly after the timer and patted in the extra essence which took a bit of time as it was a bright white-pink color. Once absorbed I was pretty iimpressed with how even my skin tone appeared. I applied my usual moisturizer after noticing a bit of aggravation on my forehead and let it absorb.

Unfortunately I had to rinse it off as my skin was itching quite a bit after a few more minutes. I do not have sensitive skin so was surprised to hve this reaction. Hope to hear others’ experiences with this mask. The priming aspect was really good, just wish it didn’t have such an irritating effect on my skin.

@eshoe That's too bad about the Primer mask – I wonder what was making you itchy? I have this one and haven't tried it yet, but I have tried the BioBelle primer one and thought it was pretty decent. I was planning on comparing the two soon. I'll be curious to see if my mask looks like that! I'll let you know how it goes! 👍😉

It’s too bad that the primer sheet mask gave you a reaction @eshoe, sorry you experienced that! I too wonder if it was a dud - I was going to try this mask but now I’m wondering how well it will preform. I’ll keep my eye out for what others experience with this one!

Someone else here just purchased it, I recall seeing it on the Hauls thread, @bakeamuffin. Hoping they post here with their findings as well. It just seemed like it had dried out, I would be willing to try it again just to see if that’s what happened. Hope yours is better, as it seemed like it would be a good primer☺️

Oh no! 😱 I’m so sorry to hear you had a bad reaction to the Sephora mask. Good that you rinsed it off. I used the Sephora primer mask once and thought it was okay. I do wonder if the mask you received was a dud - I don’t recall mine looking like that when I took it out of the packet.

I have been excited to try the Vitamin C glow powder! I’m always looking for products to help my skin stay bright and healthy so this facial treatment is right up my alley! It’s important to note that both packets must be used simultaneously to work properly, simply fold them together, tear the top off, and pour the powders into your palm. After adding the water, the powder began to fizz and I quickly applied it to my face. I could feel it working but it didn't cause any burning feelings, just a nice tingle. I rinsed the mask and moved on with my skincare routine. I noticed that my skin felt very smooth and had a gorgeous healthy glow to it. I’m really grateful to have received these from Sephora to test out and I look forward to using them more and sharing feedback on the long term results! I have discolouration from some old acne so I’m also hoping the vitamin c in this will help with those. 😊

The Firming Eye gels were a real treat! The ingredients look excellent to my untrained Eye, they fit so comfortably, and are easy to use. I really enjoyed the cool refreshing feeling to help wake up my tired eyes, it really helped to depuff the area! I would definitely use these again and am happy to have one more set to use! 😄

The DDG Extra Strength Peel has been a staple in my skincare routine for a few months now. It really helps to keep my acne at bay, as well as keeping my skin smooth, radiant, and healthy. My skin responds very well to AHA’s and BHA’s and this particular formula seems to really work for me. Whenever I slack I using these, my acne always makes an appearance- they really seem to keep my pores clean and clear! I’ve also been using and enjoying the Rose Face Mask for a little while neow. I love the way it smells, fits, and feels. It leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and glowy. @bakeamuffin This sounds like great masking AM and PM!! I haven't had the chance (just had facial when I received this gratis) to try the Fresh Vitamin C powder. Good to know you had nice results from that and the eye gels. Thanks for the great reviews!

When I used to use DDG regularly I was always really scared to put anything other then moisturizer on my face after. That's the main reason I only sporadically use them now. Did you do the sheet mask right after?

I did @GG84, I waited about 5-10 minutes after using the second wipe and then used the sheet mask. It didn’t bother my skin at all. I wouldn’t knowingly use something that contained AHA’s or BHA’s after using the peel since this one is quite strong, but the moisture from the Rose mask was very okay for me ☺️
