Help-Finding serums

My face is dry skin and I am over 25years old-what are serums effect to?

Re: Help-Finding serums

The Caudalie SOS Thirst Quench serum has worked magic on my skin. It's very soothing for dry and and SUPER moisturizing. I have dry flaky patches around my mouth that are really hard to get rid of, and always come back. Since using this serum they went away after a few days and haven't been back since! It has a really light pleasant floral scent and feels like a drink of water for your face. Can't say enough goof things about it! Half a pump will cover your whole face, so one bottle lasts quite a while. I would say at a minimum 3-4 months.

Re: Help-Finding serums

@LyNaNguyen  A serum containing hyaluronic acid (it's not really an acid) and/or glycerin would be beneficial for dry skin. There are several serums on the market that would fit the bill and at various price points.  The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is under $10 and Vichy Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Serum is about $30.  There's also First Aid Beauty Hydrating Serum ($36), Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel ($52) and Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum ($65).

Other products you might want to try, in lieu of or in addition to a hydrating serum are oils - if you have very dry skin, you can either add a drop of facial oil to your moisturizer or layer it over your moisturizer.  Youth to the People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil or Biossance 100% Squalane Oil are good ones.  Rosehip seed oil is another good oil for hydration.

Re: Help-Finding serums

I have pretty dry skin, sometimes combination but certainly dry overall, and I'm 25 too. I recently started using the Truth Serum by Ole Henriksen and I've been really happy with it. I have rosacea on my cheeks really bad and this serum doesn't make it worse and seems to calm my skin and keep my skin lightly moisurized when used under a regular moisturizer. I use mine in the morning and let it soak in for at least 2 minutes (I brush my teeth) before applying my moisturizer and it's perfect. Get the small trial size online for like $15, totally worth it!
