Has anyone tried Dermalogica? 🤔

Im starting to get more into skin care and heard that that is a good brand even for new found skin enthusiasts. I don’t have acne prone skin or anything but I still feel like my skin can be better so I’m working on a routine. Thoughts? Suggestions? Even outside of that brand.

I love Dermalogica! I am particularly a fan of their precleanse (liquid form), daily microfoliant, sleep cocoon, and calm water gel. i used to have horrendous acne and subsequent scarring. Dermalogica was a big help in going from the right to the left then to even maintain.

They're a really good brand and work wonders on acne. Congratulations on your results you look amazing.

RE: Has anyone tried Dermalogica? 🤔

Yes I have tried their microfoliant and I absolutely love it. I also have many friends that use Dermalogica and they all love it. I totally recommend using it.

@AVashti

I really like Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Refillable Exfoliator 2.6 oz/ 74g to use once a week in place of my chemical exfoliant.

RE: Has anyone tried Dermalogica? 🤔

hey! i have sampled their gel cleanser and liked how it smelled. Also used their microfoliant but u have to be sure to combine it with a cleanser which does not strip away your skin. I was at sephora today and they had a gift with two products purchase from dermalogica. So i got the mini duo of the microfoliant and precleans and the calm gel cleaner. I might exchange the calm cleanser with the gel one. Let’s c!

Hi @AVashti,

I have two Dermalogica products that I use in my daily skincare routine.

1.) Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Refillable Exfoliator 2.6 oz/ 74g : This is one of the best daily exfoliators. It has salicylic acid and oatmeal to gently exfoliate your skin, so it's great for sensitive skin, too.

2.)DERMALOGICA - Prisma Protect SPF 30 Moisturizer This is a moisturizer and sunscreen in one, so it's two steps in one! This product has matcha in it, which has a high amount of antioxidants. This formula also blends seamlessly into the skin.

I can tell you @AVashti I have tried one product  Dermalogica MultiVitamin Power Recovery Mask 2.5 oz/ 75 mL and it's amazing!! @cianni I believe has used more by this brand and could elaborate on other products

Re: Has anyone tried Dermalogica? 🤔

Thanks for the tag @lmaster ❤️ You’re right haha I’ve tried a lot of Dermalogica products.

@AVashti I started when I had really problematic skin - combo/oily, closed comedones, acne prone, sensitive, reactive AND eczema/dermatitis flares (fun, I know). I started with the normal/oily kit, then used some things from the Ulta Calming line, and a few misc. I had nothing but good experiences with these products!! My skin was soothed and it didn’t irritate me at all (which it seemed literallt everything else on earth did at that time). Luckily my skin has healed up haha.

Standout products: Special Cleaning Gel, Multi-Active Toner, prisma protect, charcoal clearing masque, breakout booster, precleansing oil.

Good products but you can get comparable: total eye care, redness relief essence. I now use the Caudalie eye creme and the mushroom lotion or cicalar serum, sleep cocoon (it’s nice but i find it a little expensive for what it is).

Misses for me: active moist (wasn’t hydrating enough but would be nice for someone with more oily skin), daily microexfoliant (works really nicely and again, would be good for someone else, but I don’t like to exfoliate this way especially daily), and skin prep scrub (I don’t like to use physical exfoliants).
