Eye Cream or Serum for milia prone eyes and anti agining benefits

Good morning,

I am looking for a eye cream or serum that won't cause milia as I am prone to it under my eyes and I am also looking for one that has anti aging benefits. I am 31 years old and have recently noticed some fine lines under my eyes. My eyes are fairly sensitive as well and dry, so something hydrating would be helpful too:) Thanks in advance!!

@Kat0808 @did you have any luck with anything? I have the same problems.

I recommend staying away from caffeine despite of it being added to almost every eye cream out there. Caffeine is drying and tightens pores which can potentially create clogged pores and milia.

I’m 35, my favourite eye cream right now is Mizon Snail Repair and Banana Bright from Ole Henriksen.

Steer clear of dimethicone /silicones its i many, many face/eye creams including nearly all Clinique and origins products

Silicones are water resistant and build up over time, ive got bad milia under my eyes from years of silicone heavy creams and concealers  i haven't develops any new ones since I stopped using silicones

If you do use them, exfoliate the heck out of your skin a cpl times a week

I have searched high and low and the only eye cream that I've found, so far, that doesn't cause milia under my left eye is SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye cream.  To my surprise, not only does it not cause milia, it's actually the best all-around eye cream, ever.  Love it.  I also exfoliate with Peter Thomas Roth's unwrinkle pads, a few days a week.  It's amazing for anti acne and anti aging.

I love skinceuticals Prost and have used the religiously for years. I guess I’m a skincare snob. I’ve not found any store products that are as effective. That being said I will use a couple of brands such as LeRoche Posay, La Mer and SKII  if I’m traveling and out of my regular IS clinical and Skinceuticals.

I have used Dr. Perricone's Blue Plasma eye gel and it was fabulous. Removed a stubborn clogged milia.  Impressive. Sephora stopped carrying and it's a difficult find. It's online at Sephora under the "Plasma Essentials".

I will have to try this thank you!! Sucks Sephora doesn't sell in house as I like to try the products before buying it oh well!

LANCÔME Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Eye cream worked well for me! I have seen improvement on my fine lines after a week.

I had one pesky milia... the only thing that made it go away within days was the Drunk Elephant Marula Oil!

Reallly!!!? I would have thought the opposite I was worried to use the marula oil under my eyes but read people saying that they use it for under their eyes for fine lines i was scared it would clog my pores the oil? This is great news! do you use it everyday under eyes and notice a difference for moisture etc?

Re: RE: Eye Cream or Serum for milia prone eyes and anti agining benefits

I'm 35 and have been using regular olive oil under my eye for about 10 years. I'm milia-prone and that's why I decided to go with a simple, natural solution. Recently, I've also added sweet almond oil to my routine. I've noticed it visibly brightens the area too.

Don't be afraid to use oil, from my experience, it's the caffeine in eye creams that causes clogged pored and milia, not the oil.

Obviously, everyone's skin is different so try and see what works for you, but personally I kinda wish I've started using oil earlier in life because it does really help with fine wrinkles and skin elasticity.

I love the Kiels avocado oil eye cream and the bare minerals brilliant future eye cream and neither have ever given me any irritation like some other creams I have tried.

Re: RE: Eye Cream or Serum for milia prone eyes and anti agining benefits

Def would not recommend the Avocado eye cream if you have milia - it made me break out with tons of milia.

Re: RE: Eye Cream or Serum for milia prone eyes and anti agining benefits

This is an old post but the Kiehl's avocado eye cream totally messed up my undereyes! It was burning and has caused milia. Stay away.

Re: RE: Eye Cream or Serum for milia prone eyes and anti agining benefits

Keep in mind everyone’s skin reacts differently. I love the richness of keihl’s avocado eye cream but it gives me milia every time I use it without fail.

I can't seem to find Kiel's at Sephora do they not sell ?

They sell Kiehl's here! I don't recommend that eye cream though. Bad ingredients and too thick.

I have heard great stuff about the Kiehl's avocado eye cream- only thing I worry about is if it is too heavy or rich did you find? still not quite sure if it's the ingredients or texture causing the milia.

Re: RE: Eye Cream or Serum for milia prone eyes and anti agining benefits

It is quite a heavy rich cream. In the winter-time, it feels really great. The thing is you can't use twice a day. I am very prone to milia and once I started using twice a day I started getting it. If you use a
