Acne and scar help!

I posted this in another group already but I want to see if anyone has different advice. By the way I have not been to a dermatologist yet since each time I think of going my skin starts getting better but then it randomly gets bad

Anyways hi, Iโ€™m new to this group and I am in need of some help with my acne scars and breakouts. I have had acne for around 5-6 years and there has been many ups and down with it but I feel like I havenโ€™t had complete success with clearing my skin. I would say I have acne prone combination or maybe oily skin. I also have very sensitive skin so itโ€™s very difficult to find products that works for me since it either breaks me out, makes my skin very dry, gives me a rash/allergic reactions, or just doesnโ€™t work at all.
I also have acne scars because I have a problem with picking at and popping my pimples, which is my fault lol and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fade the marks and if anyone wants to share a method on how to stop picking at acne.
At the moment my skin isnโ€™t at its worst but it has been better. Also, right now my skincare is very simple since Iโ€™m unsure what products I should use. Here are my routines below if you have any recommendations on what I should do different that would be great
AM routine:
cleanser - Aspen Kay naturals turmeric bar soap
moisturizer - The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
sunscreen -Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30
โ€จPM routine:
Oil cleanser- ELF holy hydration cleansing balm
cleanser - Aspen Kay naturals turmeric bar soap
moisturizer- The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

heres a photo of what my skin looks like at the moment. Its not terrible right now, mainly just scars and a few breakouts which isnโ€™t that bad.

Re: Acne and scar help!

niacinamide is my holy grail ingredient! its great for oily skin but does not dry me out. my fav is the ordinary one and its cheap to. acne is the worst but your doing great!!

Re: Acne and scar help!

I will have to check that out!! Thank you so much!!

Re: Acne and scar help!

My routine isnโ€™t very long but I really recommend The INKEY List Tranexamic Acid Hyperpigmentation Treatment 1 oz/ 30 mL  and I love the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel  and use it every day/night! I am not sure what else to recommend as I stick to really only a few products otherwise I break out. Iโ€™m not sure why, as I used to have clear skin but these two products have helped get my skin looking way better! I hope this helps!

Re: Acne and scar help!

I just got the The INKEY List Tranexamic Acid Hyperpigmentation Treatment 1 oz/ 30 mL  a week ago and have been using frequently( twice a day) and I think itโ€™s causing me to break out but at the moment im just going to to keep using it to see if there any change. Hopefully itโ€™s just my skin trying to adjust or something because the results look good. Thank you for the suggestion
